Handbook of Hypnotic Suggestions and Metaphors

A master collection of metaphors and scripts. There's a reason why this book is very expensive out on the pre-owned market. Hard to find but extremely valuable part of my collection that I will likely never get rid of.

This came highly recommended during hypnotherapy training. There is a lot of content and ideas that can be developed for years to come. I continue to integrate ideas into scripts almost a year after purchasing the book.

This is a wonderful book. It's worth it for the scripts. It's worth it for the introductory material. The scripts can be used verbatim if you like. Some are quite wonderful. I usually rework them or even just find myself using elements from what I've read spontaneously during session. So this book will help you whether you use it only for specific reference or leaf through the parts of interest to you without a specific upcoming session in mind. I have both the bound book and the kindle edition. The bound book is quite large and heavy, so the Kindle edition is a lot more portable!

I had pondered if it was worth to spend top-dollar on this cryptic looking book which was complied by Mr. Hammond. This book is worth to have on your shelf and gives anyone wanting to write script a better idea of where to start. Please don't be put off by the fancy-pants title of the writer. This is a great cornerstone for anyone who is interested in hypnotism.

You have to start somewhere to get ideas. This book puts down a good foundation covering many uses for hypnosis. It is a big book and both beginners and those more advanced get a nice selection of scripts to mix and match. You can start with one script and and cross over to another for the middle and then another to bring a client out of hypnosis. I haven't used the book in years, but it give it 5 stars because the authors thoughtfulness and effort to cover so much territory is definitive
