EVE AUDIO SC207 Active 2 Way Midfield Studio Monitor

I had high hopes for the SC207's. They performed very well for about 5 years. Recently the left channel speaker has started to trip off on occasion. They have rarely been pushed very hard and aren't used daily, just home studio stuff. Never been moved since installation and the room conditions are immaculate. Previously I had Alesis monitors at a quarter of the cost, and they lasted 20 years before failing. Fortunately I have some Genelec monitors if the Eve's fail outright, but they're a smaller form factor. Also, in my old age I tend to use my Beyer Dynamic DT 770's and 880's as they don't trigger tinnitus quite as much as cabs, but when mixing I really need both. Oh well, I may have to start shopping again.

I had SEVEN Eve speakers (SC207 and 208) and nearly every single one completely failed due to a terrible on-board computer. They literally just die and don't work anymore. I spent thousands on these speakers and literally threw them away because I hated them so much. Save yourself and buy speakers from a REAL company.

Same... I had 2 sets . one set at my home studio and one set at my work studio Both sets exploded and had to dump them in the trash. Their customer service is dreadful. Avoid at all costs . complete waste of $$$
