So far, so good. A few of our fruit trees had yellowing leaves, despite good soil and a normal regimen of NPK fertilizer. From what I read online, it seemed like an iron deficiency was the likely culprit. I scattered the iron pellets around the bases of all the trees, and a few weeks later I am definitely seeing good results. Our lemon tree in particular has gotten much greener and is producing new growth and flowers.

In addition to no staining, I found this to be a better product for reasons: 1) particle size is uniform making it easy to apply evenly using a hand held rotary spreader, 2) it creates no iron dust in the air during application.

In order to giv eour White Champaca a little boost, we gave Dr Iron a try. After a week we can see a little difference as the plant seemed to be growing faster, greener, and stronger. Since these are not truly granulars, they took a bit of time to 'dissolve'. You can see in the pictures the before and after. The leaves were dried and brownish, with a few spots. Afetr two weeks, most of the leaves have truned green and seemed to be much stronger.

I used it for climbing vines that had become yellowed and wilted in the summer heat and for a Sago palm in a pot. Although the vines in the ground did well and all leaves are perky, dark green and have added new growth the poor Sago is still yellow. It could be the Sago is beyond help by now since temps have been at 106°F for 2 weeks now.

I was concerned about the yellow/orange patches in my lawn and the grass looking brown and lifeless, all over. Fungus was one of my best guesses, but as I had read, stronger grass could ward off a number of diseases, I spread this product as per instructions to improve my alkaline soil and provide apt nutrition. Tip is to be patient for 3-4 weeks to see the results. The grass started showing results, turned greener and healthy. Worth the price.

WOW! Turns out, the soil on my property is iron deficient. In Zone 10a, I have the following fruiting trees: avocado, peach, orange, lemon, lime, pomegranate, and strawberry guava. Various other plants and trees: magnolia, hong kong orchid, plumeria, hibiscus, and some others. Before the iron supplement, the fruit trees were doing on the lower end of OK. Some yellow spots on leaves, low-ish fruit yield, and some kind of flavorless. After iron supplement: holy cannoli, I have to beat back the rampant growth with a machete! We're past fruiting for now for all except pomegranate , but ALL trees are growing VERY rapidly... As if they were trying to make up for lost time. The pomegranate tree went from occasional blooms that never hold, to suddenly a couple dozen pomegranates starting to take shape. My hibiscus bushes now have such dark green and large leaves. So much more happy than before. I'm very excited about this stuff. Will definitely buy again when this bag gets low.
