Infinity New 6432CF 2-Way 4" x 6" Car Speaker

The only working speakers in my Silverado single cab were the 4x6's in the rear pillars, so I replaced them with these feeling skeptical about their ability to match up to my expectations from old school Infinity's.Well, these were a huge improvement for $40! I also added a $50 low profile sub fed by high level inputs and wow! The sound is incredible for under $100 invested! There is more than enough volume to hurt my ears before distortion sets in.For reference, I'm one of those old former audio obsessed guys who's been using Infinity speakers since the Kappa's were sub $100. These are not as bright as the old school ones, but they can be with EQ work. A treble boost restored the clarity I was used to having right out of the gate. So for the price, the sound is awesome!I would say these sound "warmer" than old school Infinity speakers but are capable of similar clarity with EQ work. Great speakers to replace OEM. Not great if you're going to hit them with a lot of wattage without a HPF around 100Hz or so.PS - Here's one for the nerds... Several other Harman owned brands seem to sell these same exact speakers under their name at varying price points. JBL is one of them. The only differences between any of them seem to be in the design on the tweeter's refractory cone. Otherwise the drivers, basket, and even mounting plate appear identical.

What can I say.... They're infinity speakers. Only wish my Jeep could hold some 6x9 thumpers

Installed in my 2001 Chevy Silverado LS Extended Cab and they sounded good and were easy to install, much better than the stock speakers that were there. In hindsight I didn't know what speakers to buy and just chose these because their price was fair and the reviews were good. These speakers will not set off alarms in terms of bass depth, you need a subwoofer for that, but if you are looking for clear highs and decent lows I think these fit the bill.

I've had a few sets of Infinity speakers and they never disappoint. Actually, the first set of speakers I installed in a car was a set of Infinity Kappa 4x6 and 6x9s. I still transfer the 6x9s to any new vehicles I get. They're over 10 years old.I installed these in a Chevy S10, and the sound difference from the stock speakers is shocking. I can't believe I waited this long to replace the stock speakers. They aren't the strongest speakers out there by any means, but at around $50, they're a great deal. Plus if they're like other Infinity speakers, they'll likely outlast your car.

At first I was a little apprehensive about ordering these two way speakers for my vehicle, due to the fact I just bought three way pioneers for up front (Pioneer TS-A1675R 6.5, about to be replaced by infinity 6.5’s) I was afraid the infinity’s would lack mid-range but, I was wrong. Instead of hating the Infinity speakers I ended up hating the Pioneers, the ability to reproduce music by these speakers is nothing short of amazing. I feel kind of ashamed to say this because I like to view myself as an up and coming audiophile, but these are the best sounding speakers I have ever heard. I was listening to the song “Tiny Raindrop” by Balance and Composure and there is a riff played by acoustic guitars and you can literally hear each string being hit by the pick with outstanding clarity. The amount of detail these speakers bring out in music can be a bit ridiculous at times, and it is always in a good way. I don’t think I could ever get tired of hearing the crash of a symbol on these speakers. Don’t expect too much bass, they are pretty small, regular speakers will never replace a subwoofer. All in all, they are well worth the investment and I couldn’t be happier I bought them.

I replaced the stock speakers in my new 04' Chevy Silverado with these. They are replacements fur the column speakers and far out perform the stock speakers and the mids and highs are a welcome sweetness to my ears. Although these little guys don't have the bass I'm used to with ballsy 6X9's, they hold their own for such small speakers and I'm happy with their performance for the $$$.I also replaced the fronts with 6032 s1's and surprised these ovals "sound" like they have deeper bass response then the 6.5" rounds. Maybe it's the doors or distance, but I can tell there is "lower" bass coming from these than the rounds strange as it sounds.Overall they are a good value for the money and the improvement in mids and highs are what these guys are all about and they deliver.I'm an old stereo dog from the 70's and I know quality from junk and these are quality even though they are on the low end of the Infinity line and will make a definite enjoyable improvement over stock speakers in your truck or front dash of any stock stereo speakers and I recommend them to all my friend who don't say "Wow", I thought you said these were cheap speakers???!!!Prey

Hi..I bought these to replace factory speakers in my 2001 Sierra truck..I should have kept the factory ones...I was assured these were 100% compatible and would hook right up to my factory harness's..WRONG....I had to order harness to be able to connect without cutting the factory original speaker wires...after wiring up and installing the speakers..I was/am very disappointed with the quality of sound...Base is almost to zero or else sound is unbearable...Buyer beware...
