Hunter Fan Company HEPAtech Replacement Filter

I have 7 air filters located in various rooms in the house. I have owned these for many years. They no longer make the model I have so I was very pleased to actually receive Hunter filters for replacement since many times I have had to accept filters from companies who simply make a replacement filter which fits. I do find a difference in the air quality with Hunter brand than the knock offs replacement filters. However, the price is a bit high. Technically these filters are good for up to 12 months but I like to change them every 4-6 months since it amazing how much dirt is in the air we breath inside a home! Rate: B+

I was broke and was reusing the same filter after I vacuumed out the old filter time and again. I assumed that's all I needed to do! WRONG! I was wrong! I looked up filters after an exhausting search in retail stores told me my filter of choice was obsolete. I did purchase the air purifier second hand and was disturbed to find out my choice was a terrible mistake. I had an epiphany! Duh! Try Amazon first then give up and trash the purifier. WOW! I have turned over a new leaf! I now try Amazon 1st! And I'm so glad that I did. I looked at several sites and Amazon beat everybody. I ordered the filter and received it much quicker than they estimated. thank you! I cleaned the purifier and put in the new filter. I am a happy purifier owner! It works so much better and really makes a big difference in my home. I have cats! I have allergies! Not to cats! To pine and oak trees! I love my new old but new purifier! Thank you Amazon for carrying what the lazy retailers say is obsolete. Ya"ll rock! Air is so clean now! I don't second guess my second hand purchases. I consult Amazon 1st. THANK YOU!

I bought this through HSN last year and when I went to order replacement filters I was told they could not ship filters to Alaska. No idea why, but I decided to look on Amazon and found them! YEAH! These filters are excellent. I hadn't changed mine in over a year and when I got the ones I ordered from Amazon, I replaced them in both of my machines. OMG! The hair and crap that was in those filters was DISGUSTING, but even though they were packed full of yuck, they continued to clean the air! Now they are much happier and it really helps with my allergies and with the dust accumulation in my home. We live near the Mendenhall Glacier in Juneau Alaska and we have glacier silt (a very fine dust) which is difficult to deal with. This filter works great for helping cut down that silt.

I just wish that I didn't go through the filters every 2-3 months. They are cheaper here than at HSN which is where I originally bought my Purifier unit and both sites say that the filters should last up to 6 months with continuous use but reviewers at both sites agree that they don't last that long at all. So even though they are less expensive here, it still adds up when you're buying a new filter every 2-3 months which is why I only gave it 4 stars.

Installed filters in a Hunter 30055 air purifier. Fit rather tightly, but front panel clicked in place. Immediately air flow increased and circulation was like the units were new again. I vacuumed old filters weekly to remove pet hair and dust from face of filter. Did that for about 3 years. Thought that was enough. But after installing new filters have realized these filters remove more than larger particles. Exhausted air seems actually fresher. Will still vacuum filters weekly, however will not wait 3 years to replace them. Six months seems like a bargain for better air quality. Really does work.

Liked the multi layers of the filter. Length and width fit my air purifier. It was too thick for my machine and I had difficulty putting the grate back on the front.

How been using these filters for 2 yrs. Have 6 air cleaners in 2 homes, kids and grandkids have allergies. These filters keeps both homes almost dust free. Vacuum clean filter about once a month and replace every six months. Less than 1/2 the typical price and company gives a discount on future purchases. Also filters for my older air cleaners are no longer stocked in stores. I usually order a year's supply at a time.
