Stetson Vaby Ear Flaps Baseball Cap with Earflaps Men Winter

Ordered this for my hubby. The first one was too big so we returned it for the proper size. There are multiple companies offering this hat so check out their sizing guidelines to find the one you're most familiar with. We originally did it using only hatband size because that's the only measure the vendor we selected offered. Turns out they come in S-M-L-XL etc. so the hatband size was irrelevant.Onto the hat: It is so well made. As soon as you see it, you can tell this isn't some flimsy felt hat. Its the first time my husband has had guys ask him where he got something. He reports that its comfy and warm. Great option for the winter. It even held up to Chicago wind! Such a great cap.

The fit and style are great. The crown holds it shape even if I fold the hat. It is very warm and the ear flaps are nice for extra warmth and fold away neatly when not in use. It repels rain well but since it’s wool it takes some time to dry. Definitely worth the money!

A great riding hat for those cool, windy days. Ear flaps make it very versatile. Mine was made in Germany.

I started with the dock hats and beanies from Stetson. The quality is superb, no other brand can match a Stetson—that is why they’re priced on the higher side. So many details, and such great construction, Stetson’s are truly made to last.I decided to buy this wool baseball—ear flap cap. I went with the same size I purchased for the dock hats: 7 1/8. The dock hat at first was a tad snug, but I rolled with it, and I’m glad I did because the wool stretched out to fit perfectly. I just received the baseball hat, and it’s definitely snug, but I’m going to give it a week to see if it stretches too.

This hat is a great idea that fails upon execution. To accommodate the wool and cashmere exterior of this "structured" cap (meaning there is an internal structure designed to keep the shape of the hat), there is a large air pocket on top of the cap. The result is the cap looks like an equestrian riding helmet. Put simply, it is big and bulbous on top. It's a great look if you work in a riding stable, but not for going out around town with friends. It draws too much attention to itself and makes you look...well...foolish and out of place. I regret spending a lot of money on this hat.
