does the job used this for my old old tv, HDMI one port snapped and thus made all other HDMI ports not work. This was only to have my CCTV showing up. Now the picture is quite bluury, unsure if it's the product or the fact it's an old TV but either way I'm happy it does the job..saved money on another TV using this. I can easily get past the blurryness.

This is my second attempt at hooking up my ipad pro to an old projector with VGA. a USB-C to VGA adapter kind of worked but didn't support HDCP so i couldn't stream prime video to my projector. So this was bought as an alternative with a hdmi to VGA conversion with this cable. It works and I'm watching old episodes of house on amazon prime probably will work with most things with hdmi out, maybe a firestick or google chromecast TV. Update google tv tried to use it with this. Initially it didn’t work for me the 1080p signal which it was set to use by default was too much for my projector , ok on a 1080p 60 monitor. Switching to 720p and reconnecting to the projector it was fine. A nice surprise was it didn’t need external power. Audio was a bit of an issue initially had the audio cable connected to the projector and it initially worked, then stopped so paired it up with a google mini. Increased to 5 stars since the external power is optional The negative usi0g a micro usb cable to power it, shouldn't it be usb C in 2025? I guess it needs power and the same usb C hub i use for the hdmi port built in also supplies the power and im apple to charge with power delivery. It even allowed my SSD drive to be mounted. I did buy prior to this a usb C hub which provided a VGA port, unfortunately it was relatively power heavy and didnt support hdcp. Anyway this device is now going to live on the back of my projector (vintage 2005-2008) and it really is a nice bit of kit. its a stereo output on the 3.5 jack but i could probably run hdmi to an arc hdmi port on a sound bar and then send the video to the projector. seems to have audio and video in sync. 4.5 stars just because of micro usb.

That VGA cable I ordered for my office PC that is really handy and easy to carry. Price is really reasonable. Compatibility and functionality is amazing and highly recommended for PCs.

It’s been almost 2 months . This wire is useful asthe HDMI port on my TV broke so this was a good way to connect other devices such as my Amazon fire stick and my laptop to the TV using HDMI cable through the VGA adapter and your able to see everything on the screen. It comes with a audio jack cable which you can connect to your TV or other device and sound will pass through it as well works well in terms of sound and you can see everything clearly the quality is good. The only issue is sometimes the screen the vga is showing does not align with the TV 100% ( E.g., it’s shifted to the side a little bit ) sometimes it takes a little adjusting but apart from that it works great.

Handy to have in case you are presenting in an out of date facility

DOES NOT WORK. Windows 10 knows there is a monitor attached but the monitor just states No Signal Detected. I believe the active part using mini USB is not working and there is is not enough power draw for the signal to be transferred to the monitor. Please don't waste your money.

Video quality is pretty shocking, but it does work.

Bought this item to convert a computer monitor into a TV as we no longer had the computer. It was very easy to install just connect to the monitor plug the monitor speakers into it and an amazon firestick and you have amazon TV on your monitor.

Super adaptateur, fonctionne à merveille. J'ai été très agréablement surpris de la qualité du boitier type métal. J'ai branché le PC sous Windows 11 sur un vidéoprojecteur, nickel et j'ai branché une PS4 avec un câble HDMI de 5m, image vraiment très bonne. Le son passe très bien. Ne pas oublier d'utiliser l'alimentation pour avoir une image quand vous l'utiliser avec une PS4, c'est bien mentionné sur la page du produit. Quand c'est branché sur un ordinateur, pas besoin du secteur. Le son arrive même à sortir sur la prise Jack de cet adaptateur sans prise secteur dans ce cas. Je conseil cet article pour un usage polyvalent tant dans le domaine pro que privé sur tout type de support pour alimenter un appareil en VGA.
