Mini Rope Sling Bag

I just received my mini Kavu and I love it! It is definitely smaller than the original Kavu but I plan to use it as a purse for my keys and wallet so the size is perfect. I can fit my 32 oz Nalgene in either side pocket with room to spare in the larger pocket. The zippered pocket seems to be a tad smaller on the mini one and my galaxy s9 fits fine but any larger phone probably wont fit.

I love this bag for a purse size. I have a larger one for trips and special outings, but this is perfect for everyday use. I am a middle age adult with a 5’4” frame. Using this as a purse looks in proportion to my body.

Love this bag. Perfect small size. Took it to Disney land. The best thing about it is that you just swing the pack around in front when you need to get into it and then slide it back on your back when you’re done. I’d get another.

I purchased this bag in yellow to use when dog walking. It is a smaller version than the Kavu rope sling bags, and I really like this size. Very unobtrusive to wear, and jogging with it was just fine. The bottom center zippered pocket is large enough for a slim eyeglass case, and the top center velcro pocket could fit chapstick, a small sunscreen tube, etc. Overall I'm very happy with this bag and think I'll be using it regularly!A couple improvements I would make to the design:1) add zipper pulls so the zippers are easier to reach (since there's a fabric flap covering the zipper seam)2) add an interior lanyard clip / loop thing so I can clip my keys (on a carabiner) to the inside of the bag

Side by side comparison with my full size Kavu bag. It is pretty small, I almost wish there was a size in between. Fits my water bottle, small wallet, keys, and other small purse stuff but it’s tight. This particular color looked like a dark blue in the pictures online but it is more of a dark teal which I actually prefer! Overall very happy with it!

If you carry half the crap you own in your purse, like me... Well it isn't going to fit. That's what the bigger size is for. But if you want something to put a few things in that is lightweight... Well this is your bag. Thick, well made and cute as heck. I'm very pleased. It seems like it's more stiff than the full sized but that's fine. I'm going to make it look like a blowfish because I don't know the meaning of "pack light"... But that's just me.

It was a great bag but I absolutely hated the rope strap. My shoulder was raw after 2 days of using the bag. I wish they made the strap with softer material. I ended up returning it after 2 days of using it.Edit: I forgot to mention the velcro pocket. I felt that poket was useless. It was too small to use and hard to reach my hand in such a small pocket. I also felt it wasn't secure enough when I did put anything in the velcro pocket. The small velcro pocket opens on the side, even when closed, small stuff could fall out the sides of the velcro pocket.

I wanted one of these bags to use after my surgery! It easy to use with my walker or cane and it’s just cute so when the day comes when I can get along without my walker or cane, I will still be the cool Mimi... I know because of 2 older granddaughters ask for one for Christmas.

Great crossover! Smaller than a back pack which I expected. Got tired of carrying a purse and this works great. Room for everything. Easy access. Kavu stands up to its reputation. It is an extremely durable bag and well worth the price.
