Tombow 62106 Mono Permanent Adhesive Applicator. Easy to Use Tape Runner for Strong, Instant Bond.

I use this little adhesive tape all the time when bullet journaling. It's a neat and efficient way to glue craft paper, small photographs, and little paper scraps into my journal. No dry time with glue, and it's not bulky like double sided tape. I used it so much I already ordered a 3 pack of replacements because I ran out so quickly! I was using it on nearly every page and got through around 50 pages of rampant adhesive usage, so it lasts a good bit.

I originally bought this product when I was sending out save the dates for my wedding. It was such a game changer and made it 1000% easier. Since then, my husband and I used it for our wedding invitations and now it’s our go-to for closing any type of holiday or greeting card since. I even use it in replacement for scotch double sided tape depending on the craft I’m working on at the time. If you’re getting married, an old fashioned lover or giving greeting cards to others like myself, or crafty and find yourself using double sided tape a lot, I would recommend buying this product and give it a try! For me, I don’t think I could not have it around the house so I think it’s definitely worth buying!

Great strong adhesive. Glides on easily. I have used other adhesives and this is by far the best.

This tombow applicator seems to work very well for most materials. I tend to use this applicator for tasks involved in picture framing. I use it to secure the mat to the foam core board. The adhesive is very very good for paper products, so it works really well for my uses. I also used it to secure bubble wrap in the inside lining of a socket set in order to keep the sockets from moving. It had a harder time applying to the smooth injection-molded plastic but in the end it worked fine. It was just a bit more fussy to apply.The applicator is between 3-4 inches long and 1.5-2 inches wide. It fits easy in the palm of your hand.Buying this will get you the applicator and one 1/3"x472" roll of double-sided adhesive. You can order a set of three refill cartridges on Amazon as well. This is my first Tombow tape runner, though I had a bulkier runner in the past. I mostly do card making and have only made one card with this runner, but so far it's a great improvement to the gluestick I had been using. The glue tape held together pieces patterned paper and even patterned paper stuck to uneven corrugated paper.I did have a little issue getting it started, mostly due to how my previous runner worked. I was pressing too hard and could not get any tape to come out. Then I started using less pressure and easily the thin tape rolled out. Definitely user error and will take a little getting used to.There is a little plastic flap that covers the glue tape when not in use. It is easily folded back and snaps out of the way when in use, but I am curious how long it will last and if it will fall off all together. If anything changes with the flap I will update my review. I don't think it would be a deal breaker (as Tombow is a great price point for tape runners), but it is nice that the adhesive can be covered when stored.

Great for crafting, good price

I have been using this product for many years and have never had anything but a great experience with it.One of the reviews I read said to buy Staples brand - DON'T do it. After reading that I felt I needed to write a review.I am pretty sure I have tried every brand on the market and Staples brand was worthless - they ended up in the trash. The adhesive jammed up constantly and the adhesive was not as strong. Don't waste your money trying to save a few cents, in the end you will waste tape, ruin projects and frustration levels will soar.

When I first opened the package for this Tombow Permanent Adhesive, the flap that closes and protects the tape from getting dry/stuck on other materials when not in use, I thought it was broken because the flap opens so easily without much force.I thought that it felt cheap, but after using it for a few DIY, I got used to it. I've used 2 other craft tape such as these before using the Tombow one, and I have to say that the Tombow one is the best out of the 3 I tried. I find that this tape's flap makes it easy to open for convenient and fast rolling/taping, which is good!The adhesive on this roller is sticky and keeps things where I want them to be/stay. I was surprised how well it stuck on the papers, without having to reapply on the same area if I missed the spot. I usually only have to apply it once, and it covers the area perfectly!This tape is good because there are refills for it, meaning we don't have to discard the tape cases every time we buy them.
