I absolutely love this ube extract! It adds the perfect rich, nutty, and slightly vanilla-like flavor that makes traditional Filipino desserts taste authentic. I’ve used it in ube halaya, ube cake, leche flan, and even pancakes—and every time, it enhances both the taste and color beautifully. The extract has a deep purple hue, so a little goes a long way. Just a few drops are enough to give your recipes that signature ube color without overpowering the dish. It also blends well into batters, doughs, and frostings without separating. One of the things I appreciate most is that it doesn’t have a fake or overly artificial taste like some other brands. It’s smooth, flavorful, and truly captures that nostalgic ube aroma. This product is potent. It will definitely stain your hands or dishes if you use it in porous containers. It is not the easiest to use, as the pouring spout does not have a great way to stop product from flowing. It is difficult to measure out amounts for it, and every time I have used it, I have had to rinse off the bottle because of how much ube extract falls onto the bottle. It is very flavorful and good for adding ube flavorings to products like baked goods, puddings, cakes, ice cream, and so forth. The small bottle is not a detriment because a little goes a long way, making it a great value.

For the price, the quality is impressive. Bottle arrived sealed and in good condition. Would definitely purchase again.

This stuff is great for my coffees! I add it to my milk and use a skewer to add it in. It doesn’t take much at all to get the flavor you want. Too much will taste quite bitter. The purple color is a plus! It would be ideal if there was a dropper for this, as when you open it it will get everywhere and stains. But I see me having this for a long time!

100% artificial--contains zero actual sweet potato "essence" is a lie. The actual ingredients are "glucose syrup, water, proylene glycol, sorbitol syrup, artificial sweet potato flavor, coloring (FD&C red#3 and blue#1, ethyl vanillin." If Amazon had disclosed these ingredients in a straightforward way, I would not have bought this product.

My grandkids and I used this to make Ube Cookies after they saw Ube cookies on a kids show. They pestered me incessantly. I knew nothing about baking with ube but I found out this is a terrific product and we did not need to use any additional purple food color.

Great flavor, super concentrated. Color is darker than I had wished. The amount I wanted to use for flavor ended up turning everything so dark they were practically black. I ended up using regular ube powder instead even though the flavor of this is amazing
