K&Company Smash Stamp, Date

I don't have a Smash journal yet, but have kept art journals for years and also do various types of art and design work. The Date Smash Stamp is great for dating anything you want. I'm using it in my current journal, on ATC's, and on the back of greeting cards I've designed. In addition, it has clever comments ready to use or I can set it to print a block to write a code, initials, model number, etc. (I could also use it as part of my artwork if I wanted to.) The grooved setting wheels are easy to move, so set up is a jiffy. I'll be able to document dates through 2022, so by then I think I'll be ready for a new one - LOL!

Easy to use and easy to clean

This is a great tool to have when you need to date something. I am going to use this with my kiddo's scrapbook this summer. We have a box of things that will be included in the scrapbook and by stamping the actual page with the date is a great way to see what happened when. Also this is good for date received for your bills on received date and paid date. I recommend to any and all who need to keep track of the date things were taken care of.

I just got this in along with the three colors of ink. I haven't used it yet in an actual project but will be VERY soon. I didn't pay very much attention when I ordered this and was just thinking it would be fun to add a date-like stamp in some pages. Boy was I happy when I got this and it has all those fun sayings on it! I can't wait to see what crazy things I create with it!

Im writing this review through my husbands account since he ordered this for me as a gift.This date stamp is terrible. It kills my fingers to try and change the date. It came with no ink which I thought was silly. The sayings are totally out of order too. It says Happy Places is supposed to be number 3 but instead it says Today Is. Wouldnt be a big deal if the words weren't so hard to read. Don't buy this, go with a different brand altogether.

I was really disappointed when I actually tried the Smash Stamp. I ordered it and when it arrived, I put it aside for a couple of months. That's the only reason I didn't return it for a refund. The images are so small, that I couldn't even read them. It's a shame, because some of the sayings were perfect for my intended use. I've used rubber stamps in the past, so I know how an image should look -- and these are just too darn small to be legible. It isn't even worth buying at a discount.

I like the idea of this and maybe it just takes practice, but I haven't gotten a clean stamp out of it yet. Mostly I get the word and the year. If I press harder, I get more but I also get the edges.This may not be a problem for the stamping experts, but it's not so good for newbies like me.

I use this date stamp to date my student's work and my 9th and 10th graders always ask to use it! They love to change the saying (I only wish there were more!) and it is easy to use. The only thing is I bought a refurbished one or something because it was cheaper than the other ones and the part where it was which number has which saying is off so I just turn it until I see what I want on the bottom.
