Cookie Paddles w/Metal Whip Driver for Bosch Mixer

The only bad thing I have to say about this item is that the small grooves at the top of the individual paddles and the small x opening on the internal side of the paddles is somewhat difficult to clean without a brush. Otherwise they work like a champ at stirring stiff cookie batters even oatmeal cookies. These paddles also work well for soft dough, but not for kneading. But these paddles were not made for kneading heavy doughs like yeast breads, that is what the dough hook is for.

I had to replace mine 12 years after I originally got my first set. My daughter she's a cookie dough fundraiser, so it gets used a lot!! So happy to have a working one again!!!

Made all the difference in the quality outcome of my cookies. It's amazing how the shape of these paddles can help give you a quality soft cookie with all of the thick ingredients that can go into cookies. But before I had these my cookies were so hard you could throw them and I never could seem to get all the ingredients to blend in together cohesively which is key I think helping the cookie to come out right. Now of course I have since found that freezing them first also helps with that process but the paddles help all the ingredients blend in to each other something that would be very difficult to do by hand as these ingredients get hard when put together and the dough paddle that comes with the Bosch it does a decent job but just didn't quite get it where it needed to be.

Haven’t used this product yet but I received it and it was defective so I returned it to the manufacturer and they sent me a new one promptly. I will review after I use it. But I know these products by Bosch are quality products.

I've used these paddles on cookies, cold cream cheese, all kinds of things. They work well and wash great. Pop them off and put them in the dishwasher. Make sure you fully read and understand the instructions that come with every Bosch attachment. These paddles can't work on cold/semi-cold butter, raisins, chocolate chips, or anything else of that nature. It will stall the mixing and break the paddle. If you are doing a particularly thick cookie dough such as sugar or gingerbread you need to switch over to the dough hook when you get to the flour stage. The difference between these cookie paddles and the cake paddles is air incorporation. You can use these for cake batter too though it just won't be as fluffy after mixing.The reason these are made of plastic that breaks when they get pushed too hard instead of metal is to save your machine. If something gets caught and the machine keeps trying to go it will burn up the 800 watt motor. That's why gears in Kitchenaid strip when someone makes bread often. The metal hook keeps going and forcing the motor even when it has too much resistance. Bosch was made with a lot of power and can take a lot but you do need to be careful. If in doubt always use the dough hook.

I should no longer be surprised but I am. These broke after 15 months.Bosch quality has gone in the toilet.

I bought these because my mom had them for her Bosch growing up and the convenience of not having to change implements was so nice! After I bought a Bosch, I knew I had to get myself a set of cookie paddles too! I love being able to use one implement to do my cookies, rather than having to start with the whisks and then switch to the hook when I add the flour. It makes clean up easier, too, since I only have to use one set. My only complaint is that it is really difficult to get the paddles off the driver, but I suppose that's better than having them fall off while in use. And really, it’s not THAT big a deal. If you have a Bosch and like to bake, I would definitely recommend getting these! They are well worth it!If you found this review helpful, I would very much appreciate you giving me a "thumbs up". They fit my old Bosh perfectly. A couple of little knobs fell off of the old ones but they had seen a lot of miles.

Ive not had my machine and attachments long enough to really test fully but for what I have tried so far it is Absolutely fantastic - I highly recommend the machine worth every penny and the attachments are really well made (a lot better made than the UK similar version ) I am now saving up for the steel bowl to go with my lovely machine and then my set up is Complete( thank q Mr Bosch for my superb machine and attachments and thanks to Liz at Sugar Geek for wonderfuly demonstrating how to use it )
