Works well for me, good design and quick
Not sure why the negative views, I bought the i7 model and it was quick to setup and complete the install. No issues with fingerprint reader or anything else. The picture is sharp, sound is good, and the startup time from suspend is immediate, open lid, swipe finger and you're done. The build quality is as you expect from a leading brand, and I thought the price point for a premium brand i7 processor laptop with a flip over screen was the best I found. It is also reasonably light to carry. Really pleased

Little to no fan noise
Having read previous reviews, I was a little worried about the fan noise and possible lag. However it's worked perfectly since I got it. There is some fan noise intermittently but it runs quietly for the most part. I believe you can also change the battery settings to address this but I haven't bothered. No lag experienced at all.

DO NOT BUY - DEFECTIVE
The only positive is everything was included within the package, including a stylus pen, nothing was missing. But the fingerprint recognition was not working whatsoever. Useless.I set up the laptop and proceeded to use it, however, after leaving it sedentary for a couple of hours, it would not turn on. I was forced to restart it and became overwhelmed with anxiety that this product was faulty. I continued to use it the same day, but the screen froze. I had to restart it again and the screen continued to freeze five more times. I had to press a tiny system rest button on the back of the laptop and it took an hour to reboot the entire system and clear all files as I had reset it to factory settings.I rebooted it twice as the screen would not work. I eventually decided to return it, absolute waste of money - will be sticking with Apple in the future, I knew I should not have trusted Lenovo.

Nice well made laptop
Does what it says on the tin. Had it working for a week now, good clear display, excellent sound card No problemsNot tried the fingerprint access or voice recognition as I dont intend to use those features. I use it for work so wont be trying it in heavy gaming use.No regrets

Screen defective and processor stalls
During initial setup the laptop screen developed streaks and stripes. Ordered replacement (which was fulfilled quickly) but this time the process stalled 3 times during the initial setup. Not sure if it's a Lenovo Yoga issue or that it's a lightweight machine that could have gotten bumped around whilst in delivery transit.

Good but not upto Excellent
Although I am fan of Lenovo but I found particularly this Yoga C740 not up to the mark. We bought few of them but not satisfied with them. The battery gets drained with fast. The finishing if them were not as good as their laptops usually holds. Despite oF SSD the speed was slow. Overall good but not recommend for working on large database files.

Expensive garbage, will never buy Lenovo again
This wouldn't boot after a week. No response from Lenovo for days. The windows automatic restore got it to start but there were multiple problems, settings would not open, c drive claimed to be corrupted. Lenovo responded with reset instructions for a different laptop. Tried an in-place reinstall. This failed. Now machine will not switch off. Chkdsk will not run. Contacted Lenovo again. No response. This computer is a hunk of junk and Lenovo do not care one bit.

Don't buy one
After just a few months the Lenovo screen started to flicker. As the weeks have gone on, the flicker has got worse and worse and worse!!! Now taking about 20 minutes for the screen to settle so I can begin to use any apps. Apparently the problem is due to the wiring between the screen and the main body of the laptop. Turning it back on itself to use it as a tablet stretches the wiring and eventually causes the wires to snap and lose the connection. It is frustrating that in US there is a class action against Lenovo for people who have the Yoga trying to get their money back from the company for the poor quality of the product. No such group in the UK.
