Love this range!!
Love this range!! The induction cook top is amazing. Boils a cup of water in less than 20 seconds. Boils 8 cups of water under 3 minutes. Be careful as thinner pans will heat very quickly and twice I burned things beyond recognition. I have a set of Faberware that heats very quickly and a set of Tfal which is slower - so depending on what I am cooking I choose the appropriate pan. The oven works great - bakes nicely and evenly. I used the steam clean which did not clean up the sticky mess I made spilling granola in the oven - but the regular clean setting did the trick. Love that you can set bake time and then set the keep warm so you don't have to be right there when the cook time is over. Also really like the radiant heat center spot - great for bread or tortillas. I read some reviews where people complained about the range top clicking but I have not heard that even on the Power Boost setting. A fan comes on whenever the induction is working so that would mask any clicking sound. I have been bragging to all my neighbors about this range and would definitely recommend it.

Noisier than I expected but love the appearance and features
Noisier than I expected but love the appearance and features. On the down side, the knobs do not come off for cleaning and the bottom storage drawer cannot be removed without disassembly. After installation it was noted the the bottom drawer, left side, was about ½ inch lower than the right. Upon further investigation it was discovered that the left side drawer rail was not secured in its mechanical slot at the front end. After disassembly and removal of the drawer it was discovered that the left side drawer rail could not be installed correctly because of a manufacturing defect. When the rail tab was installed into its holding slot at the front, the screw holes for the rear end mount did not line up. The screw hole in the rail is approximately ¼ inch short of the distance to its mounting hole on the rear leg. By all appearances this could not have been overlooked in assembly. In order to secure the rear end of the rail, the front end would have to been removed from its slot. This is not an oversight, but a deliberate action of the assembler and a lack of quality control discipline. There was no apparent damage to the unit during shipment or installation. I find the manufactures action disturbing. A deliberate fault was shipped for the customer to most likely discover after installation. With 50+ years experience as “Mr Fix-it”, I was able to modify the drawer rail by elongating the screw hole to allow for proper installation.

In love
So in love with this stove. I tried buying an induction top of any brand locally and could not find one in stock. I had done some renovation and decided I did not want to put my old stove back even though it was fine I wanted the induction top. The wait to order one was months. This is not the one I wanted but the only one I could get without waiting a very long time. It has been great! I love love love it. The temp probe is a game changer. I am busy and don't have time to sit and watch food cook. On Christmas day I put the probe in the turkey and went out to care for the cows. Put hay out etc. Came in to find the oven off and the turkey a perfect 165 degrees and perfectly cooked. Just use pans with no aluminum and all is good, aluminum is bad for you anyway. I had been using the induction devices but this is so much better.

you need pots and pans that have metal bottoms
this stove works well. The cooktop needs pots and pans with metal (take a small magnet and if it sticks to a pot or pan, they will work on the cooktop). For example brushed stainless won't work, but shiny steel will. iron fry pans will, but could scratch. anyway, things heat up quickly (boiling water is really quick). The stove works well, best in the middle of the oven. i recommend this product

Very loud, too much wind and cooktop drives me crazy.
I love induction. I have a tabletop 1 burner style and when my range died I knew I would be getting an induction range next. So as a range style this is my first induction. I have nothing to compare it from and I am not sure if all other brands are made similar.Cooktop Pros: Heats up fast and evenly.Cooktop Cons: 1. This cooktop! It is driving me crazy. It shows every little spec and I find myself wiping it away continuously. I have this in an island so I like to have it clean and yes, I maybe a little too OCD so it might just be me but compared to my old electric cooktop which was also black but it had specks of grey in it so minor water splashes etc was unnoticed. This cooktop is COMPLETELY black and even a speck of water will show. If I had known this I would have not bought it but then again other brands may have the same issue? 2. The wind that shoots out from the FRONT. It is COLD even when you are suppose to be getting warm cooking. It may be nice during the summer but in the winter especially first thing in the morning it is too much wind. I have to move away from the wind while cooking. 3. It is so hard to clean! First the knobs, I was able to take the knobs off with my old range but with this it doesn't come off meaning it is a pain to get under the knob. The touch panel shows every single finger print and both the panel and the glass top will leave streaks when dry so you have to go over it again after it dries from the first wipe.Oven Pros: It shows the temperature while preheating so you know how hot it is. My last one did not have this feature and just beeped when it reached the temperature. It has a delay button which starts cooking, although I don't think I will use this but it might come in handy one day. The heating element is at the top vs my old one (GE) was on the bottom so I don't have to put the rack higher as I did before and it is cooking evenly. It comes with 3 racks, 2 straight and 1 that is sunken down where it is dipped down from the sides making it so it is lower to the bottom of the oven. This is a great idea for cooking something big like turkey. The oven height is smaller than the GE so that may be the case.Oven Cons: Same as the cooktop the wind blows in the front so is loud. It comes with 2 extra bars where you can automatically slide the rack while opening the door to make grabbing the pan/dish easier but by doing this you can't put any other rack close to this rack making the spacing awkward and useless. So right now I only have 1 rack and when I need 2 then will have to take out the 2 bars and disassemble the pull out mechanism and readjust everything. Same goes when you need to move the rack to another height. Sort of a pain so you'll probably want to ditch the pull out option if you regularly change your rack position or use 2 racks frequently.Overall I am satisfied with the functionality of cooking and baking. But dissatisfied with the wind and sound it makes. My old electric range never made noise in both cooktop and oven so this wind and wind noise is somewhat annoying. I am very curious if all other induction range does this? It is very hard to shop for one because all local stores won't have it plugged in and there is noway you can test the sound or wind. But the most annoying part is how hard it is to clean the cooktop and control panel/knobs. You won't find this out until you ACTUALLY start cleaning it. But this will differ from person to person on "how" clean you want it so this might not be too annoying to some people. This was the cheapest on the market so maybe that is something you have to deal with. But if I had known this and if other makers are built different (I wish the wind would blow from the back or side? and quieter) I would pay more and get another brand. But if all induction range has the same wind & sound and the same glass cooktop then this IS a great deal.I have only had this for a few months so not sure of the longevity, I will try to update after a year or two or when it breaks down.Update: Ok so I thought the oven was small only the height but it is small all around. I used to be able to put 12 x 19" cookie sheet side by side but now I can't because the sides will fit but the length does not and the door won't close. I thought I'd update the dimensions of the inside of the oven the inside is 15.5 x 24" so you can't use a full size cookie sheet either and the height that is usable from the lowest rack to the top where you won't touch the heating element is 13 inches! Now that's small! It's also because of the thick fan that's in the back and the rack doesn't go all the way back because this fan stops it. You may be able to take out the rack and place it at the very bottom because there's no heating element there but...probably not meant to be used like that. Also one more pain in the neck cleaning problem arose. I am pretty sure whoever designed this is those people who cooks but don't wash or clean after the cooking!! So the stainless plate that's glued on where you control temperature and where the knobs are, are NOT cut to size it is about 1-1.5mm smaller all around SO crumbs, spills, oil you name it gets stuck in there!! I have to use a toothpick to clean that part and let's just say I would NOT be purchasing this again if I had known all of this. Yes, I would even pay $1000 more if other makers does not have these problems. I use this every day and and I think it would be worth $1000 more in the long run. I mean it takes at LEAST 10 minutes to clean this EVERY single time I use it times 3. That's 30 minutes a day times 365, times whatever years I'll be using it plus all those toothpicks I'll have to buy and killing the trees. Yes that's a LOT of time. Time is precious, time is money. Oh well, I now know what to look for when I purchase an induction again. Hopefully by then all these issues will be addressed. But like I said, if you don't really care if food is stuck in cracks or smudges on cooktops (my husband doesn't care nor even notice these things) it is $1000 cheaper than the rest and $1000 IS a lot of money so I think it will depend on the person :) Although the wind and noise is still problematic even the husband complained about that haha...

If the magnet sticks to the pot you are good to go
I bought this thinking my pots would work and of course they don't. Had to get all new pots. If you are looking at induction range check your pots with a magnet. If the magnet sticks to the pot you are good to go.
