A classic grill that still does a great job
There is a reason George Foreman grills have remained popular for so long. I bought two of these so meat and non-meat foods could be cooked separately, and both have worked very well. We have cooked everything from mushrooms to pork chops on them, with consistently good results. They heat up quickly, cook food evenly and are straightforward to use. A surprising amount of fat also drains into the drip tray when cooking meat, rather than being left around the food. They are easy enough to clean after use and practical for quick meals without turning on the full oven. A reliable and versatile kitchen appliance that gets used regularly.

A fantastic electric grill that makes cooking quick and easy. It heats up well, is simple to use, and is great for grilling sandwiches, meat, and vegetables. The compact design makes it perfect for everyday meals and easy storage.

Great grill with some flaws
Had one of the George Foreman grills from 10+ years ago, which we really liked. Have had some alternate sandwich toasters since then until we decided to try another George Foreman. The medium is a good size and allows us to toast two large sized sandwiches side by side, which is its main use. Does a really good job of it as well. Only real downsides are the branding being on the grill which makes it a little harder to clean as food always get stuck inbetween the letters and there is no actual temperature control or switch on the actual device - you plug it into the mains socket and that's the only control you have. It's also quite unstable as when you put your sandwiches in, we tend to put pressure on the front to try and cook evenly. If you don't do this the top half of the sandwich will toast more than the bottom. The old George Foreman we had seemed to have a better hinge to get up and over the sandwiches. When you put some weight on the front of the grill, it can actually tip over, so isn't ideal. But the actual output, a lovely toasted sandwich, is nothing to complain about so we can live with these little flaws. Hopefully they'll resolve these issues in a newer model.

Absolutely fantastic!!!
So fantastic that itโs pretty much all I use now. Itโs small and compact yet has enough room to cook everything I need for my family of 2. I even do omelettes on it. Many years ago I had one of the super size George foremanโs that you could basically cook for a huge family for but I wanted something small that I could put away easily if I wanted since I didnโt need such a big one. The best advise I can give is to use parchment paper/baking paper. I initially found the grooves tricky to clean especially the โGeorge Foremanโ as any grease and food debris was hard to clean out of the letters. But now I use parchment paper folded in half so it sits on the top and bottom places and itโs been a total game changer. Now I donโt need to even do any cleaning to it and it keeps things like eggs contained if youโre making an omelette. For anyone wondering about the โloose hingesโ mentioned in other reviews, it is supposed to be like this and itโs also a feature that makes it stand out from other brands. Having these flexible moving hinges means you can grill uneven shaped items to through fully without the plates just sitting on the deepest parts of the food. Very happy. Use it multiple times of day.

Love it
Excellent Did a burger which when fried or in the oven have been chewy on this tender and tasty. Bacon and tomato pannini beautiful. Lots of things to use it for and way more economic than using the oven/grill. Easy to clean, dry paper towel as soon as finished cooking, damp microfibre cloth when cool. Would removable plates be easier, possibly, but then the price would be higher. Really pleased with my purchase.

Quality George Forman
Very pleased with our George Forman grill. Has a few over the years and replaced the last one with this new one. Great cooked steaks and handy for toasties too. Easy to clean-we use wet kitchen towel to wipe away residue straight after unplugging. Then clean properly when cool. Works a treat. Heats quicker than our last one which is ideal. Good size and eady to store.

Excellent buy
Have never had any other kind of grill before but since my eye condition has worsened i thought id give this a try The grill arrived next day as promised and was very carefully wrapped It comes with a tray that fits underneath to catch the fat and an extensive information book on how to cook different things For my first meal my daughter and i decided on a classic cheese burger We plugged the grill in and waited for the sensor to turn green Placed our frozen burgers in and set a timer for 7mins The results were absolutely gorgeous The burger turned out perfectly grilled on both sides and all the fat had drained off leaving a very tasty burger Cleaning was a doddle by just using a damp cloth to wipe any residue The tray with the fat was drained away and washed in a bit of warm water then dried and wrapped in some kitchen roll till next time This is a lovely gadget to add to your kitchen and i cant wait to use it again Next time maybe a panini or toasted sarnie ...yummy

An ok grill but with reservations
This is my 3rd George Foreman grill, my first was the more expensive grill with removable dishwasher proof plates something was wrong with the plates, not the cooking side the other side, I donโt know what the plates are made from but one wash in the dishwasher they came out black, you could not remove the residue however hard you tried to clean them I contacted George Foreman they replaced the grill, they never answered my question as to why the plates had black residue, they sent a new grill, same issue but I kept it. Recently after a few hrs service I decided to buy a new grill, ยฃ34 now under ยฃ30 just my luck. Now into my review for the new grill. The plates heat up quickly and is much more efficient than my older grill, steaks, chicken, burgers, toasties all turn out quite well. I try to buy the most lean of cuts to avoid extra grease and mess. Cleaning is reasonably easy clean after eating or just switch it back on later and wait 30 seconds a sheet of kitchen roll and bobs your uncle, wipe away excess fat. The George Foreman words on the top plate should not be there as the cooking residue gets stuck in the lettering, it does come off but requires extra cleaning, the name is on the top it does not require embossed name on a cooking plate!!!!!!! Too many nooks and crannyโs where grease food can go into which will require more intense cleaning in due course thatโs if you can get to it. CAUTION be careful only open the lid at the front twice I have accidentally touched both sides, the lip of the plates are slightly exposed, you WILL burn yourself. The grill needs a dedicated handle at the front of the lid although you can open the lid from the front it must be done at the very front. Iโm unsure what plastic is used to make the casing but it is not easy to keep nice and clean however hard you or careful you are it easily shows marks, cosmetic I know but I like smart gadgets in my kitchen. The grill needs a timer my old one had a timer that is very useful, it is easy to go off for a moment and forget, no big deal as I use a hand timer. Iโll still give the grill 4 stars though because itโs a grill and my bacon, steaks, chops, sausages chicken and occasionally toasties all cook well.
