Frigidaire MWTK30FK Stainless 30'' Microwave Trim Kit

In kind replacement of my new house original. The pot head installer over tighten and cracked frame. Did discover till already in home. MW crapped so I proceeded to replace it. Looks great.

Expensive for plastic. but fits our built in microwave perfectly and looks great.

This product does not goes with the microwave even it is advertised as it is. I tried to make it work but the tray is not big enough for the microwave. The trim fits too tight. I had to makeshift with the old tray and the new trim. The trim is a pain to install since uses 4 screws at an angle. Paying for a full set and only use ⅓ of it is theft. The support brackets that supposed to hold the microwave were not even aligned properly. I want a refund

Excellent trim kit, easy to install. Only downside is that it is plastic and I would rather have metal like the one it replaced.

Makes my microwave look like a super expensive built in. We just dropped 50k on a major kitchen remodel. I had to find somewhere to save some money but not look like I was going cheap. This did the trick. Very nice and looks great.

First off, the model number in this listing is incorrect. The correct model number is MWTK30KF, as you can see in the image from the box.But really, the "correct" model number of this trim kit is irrelevant, because this trim kit has been discontinued. It does not fit any of the current Frigidaire microwaves. The problem is with the two rails in the bottom tray which support the feet of the microwave. These rails, as they are from the factory, don't fit any of the current microwaves which Frigidaire sells.Now, if you're handy, you can pop the suspect rail (the left one facing the front) off of the base tray, move it about two inches to the right, drill all the way through it, and then use small screws to mount the rail through the base plate and in to the cabinet.I personally did this because I like the faceplate. It has ventilation all the way through the front of it, which is what I was looking for, and none of the current trim kits had this. I wanted the additional ventilation, so I settled for a tray that I had to manually munge in order to fit my modern Frigidaire microwave (FPMO227MUF). Other than the rails in the tray, the trim kit fits. But if you do buy this in order to fit a current microwave, know that you will have to manually modify the base tray in order to get it to fit any of Frigidaire's current microwaves.

This trim piece fits our FPMO209RF | Frigidaire Professional Built-In Microwave just right. Still don't know why a simple piece like this is so expensive. Ridiculous!!

This trim kit fit is perfect. I love the built in look. Installation was easy enough.
