Great purchase!
Such a great piano for beginners or professionals. The weighted keys are amazing - feels like playing a real piano. It has a ton of features and tools built in that make it a ton of fun to play with. Plus it looks very cool with the black and red. I highly recommend buying this product if you’re looking for a solid keyboard for a decent price!

Great keyboard for the price
I wanted a portable keyboard to use with my computer, and I wanted it to have speakers so I could noodle around on it when I wanted. Also, it needed to have MIDI connectivity (for the computer, obviously), and an easy way to hook it up to an amp. This keyboard delivers. It also has a robust rhythm backing system and a sequencer, which is nice. But, most importantly, the sounds it includes are all excellent. Compared to the sounds I was hearing from similarly priced Yamaha keyboards at Guitar Center, these are far and away better. And the red color on the 6250 is sharp as heck.

Two thumbs up
Great all-in-one, plug-and-play keyboard. It’s a little lightweight, so doesn’t feel super sturdy. The tradeoff is what’s inside is a great value. Unless you’re planning to lug this around, you’ll agree this tradeoff is well worth it.Enough extra features to mix it up a little. Like all keyboards with those simple low-res monochrome interfaces, the extras aren’t super intuitive. If going well beyond presets are something you’re looking for, this probably isn’t the keyboard you’re looking for.

It has no factory reset
This synth is no longer available. It is was good while it lasted. It recorded 16 tracks and the Casio tones are untouchable. I loaned this to my daughter in college. She let some other kid use it. When they returned it to me it was stuck with a permanent reverb on all the sounds and nothing I did would remove it. I even downloaded the original manual. I haven't used it since. It's too bad it was an unbeatable value for the money.

Good unit for the price.
First off, this is a $200 unit, so expectations need to be set for a lower-priced keyboard. Having said that, the Casio has an incredible range of voices, rhythms and effects. So many, in fact, they send a 3' x 3' spreadsheet to list all the options! The keys have good spring pressure but will not feel like weighted elec piano keys. Very usable, but it requires a little adjustment getting used to. Probably the only downside is the built in audio output. The speakers are bright (tinny) with not a great midrange and very little bass. There might be an adjustment I'm not aware of, but I failed to find it.My product was cosmetically damaged in shipment and has been returned. Frankly that may have been a blessing as I will likely look for a higher end keyboard. If you're a beginner, or just want something to use for home accompanyment, this is a good little device. I don't think it is gig-worthy, however.

Many functions, but too many
This is a nice keyboard, but it is very complicated. Not for beginners! The book helps... a little, but there are so many functions, it is just overwhelming. Who needs all this? Plus there is a feature that it actually does not have that the older Casio did, and that is there are no separate volume controls for rhythm, accompaniment, and melody. It's all or none. I don't like not being able to hear the melody I'm playing when being blasted out by the drum section. Unless you like the multi--functions and complexity of this keyboard, it's for you, not me.

Amazing keyboard at the price!
Amazing keyboard at the price. I purchased it for the purpose of connecting to my Mac through midi. I mainly wanted it to learn how to play and to use as a midi controller. For those purposes itself, it’s great. The sounds loaded in it are pretty amazing as well for a Casio. I use it through logic and control it from mpc essentials. Only flaw is figuring how to turn the local off, as a result I can’t load the sounds from the keyboard into my daw, but I use a lot of plugins so not the worst. I’m sure there’s a way but it’s fairly easier to do on earlier models.
