Air Hogs Smash Bots - Remote Control Battling Robots

Bought this for my 6 year old sons birthday. He and my 4 year old plays with it for hours. The batteries do not burn as fast as I've read with the other reviews. And this toy is made very well. It has dropped and survived some rough play and it is still going 6 months later! Sometimes my son will take it out with him and a lot of the older kids ages 9 and 10 enjoy playing with it as well. I think its was well worth the money.

My four year old saw an ad for these on TV and wanted them. Worried they would get played with once and then forgotten. But not only great way to engage with him as a 2 person game, he can set the controllers to control both Bots at same time. Great for self entertainment when no one is available to play with him

This is a great toy! I have twin boys that are 6, a 5 year old daughter and a 12 year old son.They love it and so do my husband and I. Fun for hours. Don't expect it to do anything outrageous. Its a simple toy. It also requires 9000 batteries.

Garbage. This toy is a waste of money. The toys barely spin. The 'Turbo Dial' does absolutely nothing. In most cases the robot will knock itself over as you try to maneuver it toward the opposing robot. My 9 yr old was escited when he saw the package, and 10 minutes after playing with it, said "I guess this came from the dollar store?" A more entertaining use of $30 would be to gather the kids around the table and drop $30 dollars into a glass bowl, light it on fire and watch it burn. Seriously DO NOT BUY. I am seriously planning to use the water balloon launcher that we purchases last spring to launch these at full speed into a brick wall.

I bought this product for my two boys after they were crazy about this movie that had robots fighting like UFC. But after getting the product it just seemed cheap but we put the batteries in and let it rip. right off the top one of the robots broke a arm so much for that. All in all if the manufacturer would make the robots a little more sturdy this product will be a blast for any child

Yes this takes a lot of batteries but for good reason! These smash bots are so fun. I bought them for my 5 year old at Christmas and he loved them. They remind me of the robot battles in the beginning of the movie "Big Hero 6". They really only walk and spin but they are fun! However, if the remote isn't directly pointed at the robots they will not work. That can get a little frustrating for a 5 year old but all in all a good toy

These are great! I purchased after reading some of the reviews! They were bought for a 10 year old boy, and were totally age appropriate (10 gets to be a tricky age when it comes to toys) All the Kids have had hours of fun on these, from ages 6-10. Totally would recommend this!

7 nephews and 1 daughter ages 3-13 spent a week at the beach having a smash bots tournament. Great fun during rest time. Much better than the rockem sockem robots. Remember to flip the switch off to conserve batteries on the remote and bots .
