Q: Does this create co2 bubbles? Does it make more co2 in the air around tank?

It makes gas to for the tank (for bubbles, you need a diffuser) . Any co2 that escapes the water is diluted by the air and is harmless

Q: Could I use this setup to fill an empty co2 tank?..has anyone used this to make soda or any other drinking beverage

Not enough pressure, just go pay for a tank to get filled

Q: How big should the bottles be? Will 32 ounce work or should it be larger?

I am using 32 ounce bottles & it is working fine for me. The supplied tubings in this kit is a bit longer for 32 ounce bottles though. I did not bother to trim them in case I change my mind in the future to use the recommended 1.5 liters or 50 ounces & above according to the instructions that came along with it.

Q: What is the yellow tube under the pressure gauge? What is it for? How much pressure (kgf/cm2) can 2L coke bottle hold?

You'd be surprised but the I'm not entirely sure but I've had a few explosions
