They work, they are light. They are perfect for a backpacking trip when you will want to start a little fire.

Great for starting camp fires and easy to transport
Fantastic and compact fire starter! These worked so well I was surprised. Really got my camp fire going without the need for lighter fluids.

Making tinder in wet conditions can be tough, and though I could carry fine steel wool/cotton balls with a little Vaseline, etc. these are inexpensive enough and work far better to make a fire. They come in a sturdy waterproof bag and light every time to start your kindling. Great product.

A Must Have for a Wood Stove or Fireplace
If you want to start an strong and evenly burning fire, then you must have tinder, kindle, and good dry wood. This tinder is great for quick lighting to get your kindle going.

Game changer!
Not sure why I've never tried these before, but great for lighting charcoal in a bbq chimney. Just light one. Put the charcoal chimney on top. Wait about 15min and you're good to go!
