It didn't fit well in the NECVT85LP
I am an IT Admin since 20 years experienced in handling hardware from AIX servers to notebooks, beamers and other hardware. This replacement lamp just didnt fit right and one of the pins got pushed out of the socket when I tried to insert it (with a sensible push, not pressing like mad). Sending back is too expensive due to transport fee and so I fixed the cheap quality plug myself. Very disappointing...I just hope that the lamp will then work at all.

NEC VT83LP PROJECTOR LAMP
This has been very disappointing. The light bulb burnt out within 2 months!!!!! When we purchased directly from the manufacturer and paid through the nose for it, we usually got much longer than that. I have some equipment on this campus that has not been replaced at all!
