This takes around 48 hours to freeze solid enough. My first attempt it broke, my 2nd it worked great looked pretty but with in 2 mins after setting it up it wasn’t stable I supposed and just flipped off the glass plate it was sitting on and broke. It’s as though bottom wasn’t wide enough … your best bet is to sit the form up in your freezer you’ll need a flat half for this and pour the water in after it’s sitting there. I might try it again but I was disappointed.

I ordered this snowman ice mold to use in a punch bowl at our school annual holiday party. Prior to ordering the mold, I could not find the sizing printed anywhere but, I thought I would give the product a try anyway. Thus, let me be the one to provide the sizing: height 12 inches, measurement at the widest point 10 inches. That being said, it is too large to use as a mold for a punch bowl. However, it is cute and I will give it a try at the party as an ice sculpture. Hopefully, the outdoor temperature it will be below freezing on the day of the party since this mold would take a lot of space in a freezer.Also be aware, that this mold is one sided. What you receive is one inflexible, hard, plastic mold of good quality.I admit that I have not put this mold to the test yet, but will update this review if there are any problems.My mold was shipped from a company in Indiana. Delivery was prompt and received in good condition.I give the product four stars, as that, I hoped that the mold included a back side. I also wonder if the product was silicone, it would be easier to work with.Product instructions state that it could be used for a jello mold. (A large jello mold) and instructions on how to ensure that the ice sculpture will be clear

I did read the measurements before purchasing, and even with that this is going to disappoint anyone purchasing this for any special event. It's not a sculpture, it's just a large mold and good luck getting it out in one piece. If it were made from silicone it would be easier to use but as it is, it just doesn't work for any type of event.

I never actually used this mold - I purchased and returned it for credit. This mold is not a full 360 degree / all sides mold. Instead, it will produce a mold that has details for the "front only", but the back side will be "flat". The mold is more of a "jello" or "cake pan" type of mold. You don't stand the mold upright and fill with water, rather you lay the mold down flat and fill it. The actual plastic mold is not shown in this listing, only the finished product. Note that the photo of the finished product only shows a view from the front. I think it would look good if you just wanted the final product to be seen only from the front, but if you wanted an ice sculpture that would look good from any side, this will not work well for you.
