I was concerned about the threads bottoming out with the shift pattern on the knob not squared properly, and sure enough on the first try the knob stopped tightening with the pattern askew.I removed the knob and pondered what to do. For some reason I tried again and this time it screwed on farther - almost right.Encouraged, I tried a third time and it stopped definitively and perfectly aligned and hasn’t budged since - perfect!Very well made. Looks and feels great.The only minor downside is the potential hot/cold of the knob due to being made of solid aluminum.Still, I’m very pleased and would purchase again. Recommended.

Great replacement for my sons ‘14 Focus ST. This should be sold or recommended with a sunshade, it does get hot in the sun! Great weight though, looks really good.

While i did have to rotate the life out of this first time with the provided adapter to make it work, it was a pretty nice and straight forward switch. The boot is not fully locked down but look at the design of the thing, i didnt expect it to do that in the first place. It was lovely to have this shifter with fittings to make it applicable to any shifter unlike another kit i got elsewhere.

It feels great to hold and shift. The only drawback is that it is hot to the touch on a sunny day. You can still shift gears but cannot hold for more than a few seconds. I recommend putting on some sleeve to cover it. I use my sunglasses pouch. I also had to buy a shift boot retainer and make sure to purchase the correct thread pitch size!

Like others had said, I couldn't get it to align properly the first time... or second or third, but then I put it on and cranked down on it and now it won't move or spin and is properly aligned too.I have a 2007 Mazdaspeed3 so the color looks great with the red dashboard and all of the red stitching on the seats, braided USB wire and the boot to the stick shift (pictured).The weight and feel of this thing and the shifts seem less "notchy" than they were and I love the way it fits in my larger hand than the original shifter.The only Cons so far is that it was very warm to the touch, sitting in a hot car. I'm going to get a white piece of cloth or ankle sock from the dollar store, so I can cover it so it doesn't absorb heat, being that it's black.It looks awesome and goes with the Japanese heritage of the Mazda spirit!

Nice clean look. Japanese characters make sense for ToyotasEasy to install. Thread count and type match. Remove cup holder insert and hold stick while unscrewing old knob. Use Teflon tape by trial and error until you get a tight fit with characters lining up with new knobCheers!

The quality of the shift knob is surprisingly good at the price tag of $21.99!! It has a nice weight to it, this knob is full metal and comes with extra thread pieces. The Japanese characters are engraved into the metal as well as painted so it will not faith away too easy. All in all, I am very happy with the purchase and glad I didn't spend $80+ on another name brand.

Put this on my 2016 MX-5. It was a quick and easy setup. Took less than two minutes. And I think it looks cool.Be aware, it can be affected by the weather. For instance, when it is hot outside it will be hot to the touch when you first get in your car.Other than that though, cool little shift knob.

Bigger than I thought but good quality

Bought this, it's got some weight to it, it's tidy as hell. I tried to install it, but I buggered it up, contacted the company, they were super helpful and very prompt. I doubt I'll need another shift knob, but I'd buy this piece again.

This shift knob fits great, but after installation there is a gap between knob and the boot (see photo 1). I fixed this by inserting a spring under the boot, so that it pushes the boot up to the knob (see photo 2). Good weight

Arrived very fast in the mail. Shift knob is high quality, deep black paint and bright red in the 6-speed shift pattern. Easily screws onto the stock BRZ/FRS/GT86 shifter. Although lining the pattern up properly does take some time. Would buy again.
