Fiskars 8" Left-Handed All-Purpose Scissors for Fabric & Crafts, Red

I am very happy with these Fiskars left-handed scissors. I have never used left-handed scissors before, and I didn't realize what I had been missing! It is so nice to have scissors that are truly made for left-handed people. They fit comfortably in my hand and cut smoothly through paper, fabric, and other materials with very little effort. The blades stay sharp, and the scissors feel sturdy and well made. They are comfortable to use, even for longer projects. If you're left-handed, these scissors are definitely worth buying. I highly recommend them!

Work great. Finally bought scissors for left handers instead of flipping a standard pair upside down. Sharp, cut well. Seem like great quality so far. Nice to have scissors just for me. The holes for your fingers are a little smaller.

These are the scissors that do it all. They’re good quality, comfortable to use, and fit my 10-year-old’s hand well. They cut through everything we’ve needed them for and work exactly as intended. A great everyday pair of scissors, especially if you need a left-handed option.

These left handed scissors are great! My daughter, who's a southpaw, really appreciates them! Great value for the money. They look nice, they are sharp, and very sturdy.

I love these scissors! They cut precisely and are sharp. I've bought 2 pairs of these. Being left handed doesn't have to be an issue anymore haha. I will say, they have a bit of a learning curve because of the position of the blades. When you use a pair of right handed scissors with your left hand, the blades are in a different position. I'm not sure how to explain it, but it's just a different POV, if you've grown up using right-handed scissors. It's not a problem at all, it just means you can see exactly what your cutting easier. Instead of looking to the left of the scissors to line it up, you can have a more comfortable POV and see exactly what your cutting to the right of the scissors. I've included some pics to help explain what I mean (red ones are these left handed scissors. Blue ones are regular right handed ones). There are some people in these reviews that don't understand that this is how scissors are supposed to be. If you were using right handed scissors with your right hand, they would have the same pov. These aren't "constructed wrong" you've just been using scissors backwards your whole life. You've gotten used to aligning what your cutting to the outside of the blade instead of the inside of the blade, where your head would naturally be. because if your right handed scissors were in your right hand, you'd be aligning the cut on the inside of the blade, again where your head would naturally be. So yes, if you want true left handed scissors, they're going to be mirrored to right handed scissors which would require different assembly. If you don't want true left handed scissors, just grab a pair of right handed ones and use em upside-down. Give these time, you'll get used to the new pov. Anyway, I LOVE these and it'd be cool if they could come in different colors like other Fiskar scissors 👀

They seem well made & work OK for the light cutting I've done so far. As for comfort, that's going to depend on your hand size because the handles are severely contoured so they probably fit a medium size hand. My hand is slightly larger than medium & these aren't a perfect fit for me. If my hand was any larger they'd be uncomfortable. I'm 68 years old & have been using right-handed scissors my entire life. So I'm used to lining up my cuts along the left edge of the upper blade. These line up with the right edge of the upper blade. Believe it or not, it's a bigger adjustment than I'd expected. So these will go in my kitchen where most of my cutting doesn't need to be precise & I'll eventually try using them when the need arises to cut a dense material that is painful to cut with right handed scissors. If I was designing scissors for left-handers, I'd make the grip less severely contoured, maybe using a material that had some compressive property, and I'd keep the blades the same as on right-handed scissors. There may be some just like that on the market but I'd assumed any marketed to left-handers would be designed that way. Now I know better. P.S. - the so called universal grip scissors that I've tried aren't terrible but still aren't very comfortable for cutting denser materials.

My daughter is left-handed and has either had to struggle with right-handed scissors or universal ones which are frankly appalling for right-handed and left-handed users. These scissors are extremely high quality and the first ones she has had that she finds really comfortable to use. She loves them. I bought them as she’s off to university soon and I’m sure these will last her years.

Mi esposo siempre ha batallado en este mundo hecho para diestros, así que decidí regalarle estas tijeras como parte de sus celebraciones de cumpleaños. De características son iguales a cualquier tijera, pero el agarre si es muy diferente. Hasta yo noto la diferencia. Él es el más feliz por que puede hacer más cómodamente labores que son cotidianas, sin estar batallando con el agarre o que se le suelten las tijeras por usarlas sin su mano dominante.
