If you are on the high end of the scale in Men’s shoe size, you may want to size up as it will be easier to fit and tighten as needed. It fits in a shoe. If your boot is already tight, perhaps not; but if it is a lace up boot or if it is a slip on boot with a little wiggle room - no problem.
