Know that hood you are buying
I ended up with a purchase nightmare Approx 8 years ago I purchased a Spagna Vetro 42 Island Mounted Stainless Steel on-line (not from Amazon) . This hood cost me around $900.00 plus hundreds of dollars to install it - it took 3 men. The lights started giving me problems a few years back and then one light bulb burnt out so I replaced all the lights and it is taking me hours to align the light disks and I was only able to replace two of the lights and the button no longer works so after I struggle to align the two remaining lights they are not going to light up anyway. I called the company and the designed has been replaced (of course) and they want a $100.00+ for parts - but the problem is I have to call in a contractor to bring down the whole unit to replace the broken light switch. I am so sorry I bought this on line. Go to a reputable store where they sell range hoods and find out how parts get replaced because they will wear out and for gods sake sure they have a better light bulb replacement design.
