2 not as good as 1
The first N.W.A. Legacy collection is one of my favourite hip-hop compilations ever, so it's not surprising that the second one is a bit of a letdown. It's only one disc this time around, and the focus is on the late 90s, as opposed to the late 80s & early 90s bias of Volume 1, which was the most fruitful period for the N.W.A family tree. If you like Snoop Dogg's No Limit albums, you'll like this compilation, as four songs are taken from Top Dogg and Tha Last Meal combined. There are a couple of older vintage tracks closing out the collection, including DJ Quik's classic Born & Raised In Compton and the D.O.C.'s The Grand Finale, but as a whole, this compilation doesn't pack the same punch as the first.

Get With The Program
Have u gone mad? This is one of the greatest Compliation albums of all time. 5 of my fav. songs of all time are on this cd! There are so many legendary songs on this album. The artists on this cd are incredible. The best songs would have to be: GOT BEEF, LAY LOW, BEHIND THE WALLS, CHIN CHECK, AND HELLO. Now dont get me wrong, even though this is not NWA classic material, its an over the edge cd. If u do not like/own/or heard this album then u are missin out on some good action. Trust me its basically IMPOSSIBLE not to love this cd. This is way up there on the chart of the best albums of all time. Overall I give this cd 5 bricketts.

Best CD ever
If you don't have this cd then you have to be the stupidist person around. You don't really like rap if you don't have this cd. It is my personal favorite compilation cd. THe best song on here is Hello by MC Ren Dr Dre and Ice Cube. Ice Cube's verse is my favorite verse of all rap. Chin Check is song number two whic is NWA and Snoop Dogg after Easy died. Snoop was to replace Easy but the album never came out. Bitch Please is a great song features Snoop and Xzibit. B Please II is on Marshell Mathers LP. The Grand Finale is a another great song by NWA and the DOC. Very old song but dope as hell. Eazy and Bizzy Bone make a joint that is amazing. Apitite for Descruction is an origional NWA song off the cd Efil4zaggin. Pumps me up a alot. Overall again this is the most amazing West Coast album after NWA broke up.

Too much Snoop...
I feel like ever since “Chin Check”, Snoop has somehow been adopted into N.W.A... and he is definitely featured way too much on Legacy 2.Now don’t get me wrong, he’s a good rapper, and everything he did on The Chronic and Doggystyle was dope. But for one thing, he doesn’t fit into the vocal style of the group... Ren, Dre, Cube, and Eazy all had intensity in their delivery... they had ATTITUDE. Snoop is way too laid back, and already established himself as being more lik Cypress Hill than the group that released “Dopeman” or “F**k the Police”.The other thing that makes Legacy 2 weaker than the first is the fact that there’s plenty of material out there to have filled 2 discs easy. They could have used this release to collect all the killer songs from other artists’ releases that weren’t already on any N.W.A members’ albums or compilations... like “The Geto” with Ice Cube and Scarface, or “G-S**t” with WC & Ice Cube. It’s cool having “Chin Check” and “Hello” on the same album, “Get Yo Ride On” with Mack 10 & Eazy-E is probably the best song other than the aforementioned two, and “Born and Raised in Compton” by DJ Quik and “The Grand Finale” by the D.O.C., Ice Cube, & Dr. Dre are both solid tracks.

THE N.W.A. LEGACY Volume 2
