Works for K490NC but does not look like the original cable
Good product. Although it is not the exact replacement of K490NC or K495NC cables, it definitely works. It looks like it will live a bit longer than the original (and very nice looking) cable. This cable makes the headphones look ugly and cheap, but I guess it is very close to original cable design of some other AKG headphone models (the models that screw the connector inside the headphone). When ordering, I knew it did not look like the original and I cannot complain much, it works.

2nd time purchasing this item. Both cords only had sound on right hand side of the headphones. Tried altering position of the cable thinking it was a strain relief issue but that didn't help.
