Well the unit seems durable enough if treated with care. I used this to deter my neighbors dogs constant barking. I liked that it looked some what like a bird house. I even took a black marker and made a back circle on the front to look like opening for a bird and hung it in a tree near the neighbors property line. The instructions say it must be within 50ft of the dog to work. It seemed to slow the barking down a lot but didn't completely eliminate it.The biggest draw back for me is that I could not use a remote power source due to the distance from my house to the property line. So I had to use only 9v battery source this resulted in me replacing the battery about once a week your mileage may vari due to how much the dog barks. Its worth a try if you have neighbors who don't seem to care if there dog is constantly barking or for training your own dog.

This sadly didn’t work for ourdogs! I read the reviews and had high hopes! We have two Great Pyrenees who just think they have to protect us a little too much while outside! They love to bark at the sounds and other dogs in our alleyway! This slowed down the barking for about two days and then they began not to care! Super bummed because my husband and I were so excited!

It works! It took 1 day for the barking to reduce 3 days and only a few barks. We were tormented by our neighbors 3 dogs and their boarding other dog with their dog sitting business . The only problem is the green flashing Battery light that is so bright it lights up anything around it at night for 20 feet. Our neighbors spotted it the first night.

Update: return window closed 3/6/20. Product quit working properly 3/13/20. Fast flashing green then fast flashing red without ant barks setting it off. Never had an anti-bark device fail so quickly.Original review:Bought to replace another similar worn out device. Helps to significantly reduce (not stop) barking from the neighbor's dog. Certainly can tell when the battery needs to be replaced. The barking increases in duration and intensity. The unit's design is better than some other similar devices.

Very waterproof but the battery life was quite low. Will not work for me as our neighbors have several barking dogs and I could not tell any difference.

it worked a few times but the thing we didn’t take into consideration is that u have to move it around wherever the dogs are... not really convenient. the batteries run out very quickly if u don’t turn it on and off religiously.so the collar seems to be a better option.. rechargeable and much more effective as it is on the dog, and goes where she goes.

I purchased the anti barking device and it worked fine for only a short time. The indicator light started blinking green continuously so I turned it off, removed and replaced the battery with a new one. The light still rapidly blinked green and the test mode did not work in any way. I requested a return/replace which was handled very quickly so I was pleased with the process.I started the whole process again; the test mode worked fine. The unit worked fine for a few weeks and again the same problem happened. I did the same troubleshooting; turned off, removed and replace the battery without success.Now since time has passed the unit is beyond the allowed return date so I am out of the money I spent and have to come up with a new solution.....

At first, this was great! But the battery dies within a week. Now it won't work at all. Bummer!
