My absolute favorite toner for my sensitive, combo skin! Never breaks me out and is gentle on my worst skin days. It's truly unscented and doesn't leave any residue on the skin. Super easy to layer on my other skincare over top. I tested using this toner vs regular water on a cotton pad with no other skincare whatsoever. My skin felt noticeable softer and more moisturized with just the toner even after an hour. Regular water alone left my skin feeling a bit dry and tight, then too oily as my skin freaked out after an hour.

I personally found this toner to be quite hydrating. It's very watery and layers easily, which is great since I tend to apply my toners 5-7 times (and it still lasted me half a year!) It never stung or irritated my skin, so it has to be super gentle since I am using a few other products as well! Will be checking out other products from this brand, it is super reliable and great on asian skin as well.

EDIT: 07/01/2025 After coming back to this toner because of how often I see it being used by other people, I decided to give it another chance and I have found that after fine tuning my skincare routine, I do actually like this toner. I skip the cotton pad completely (the social media influencers who constantly harp that you should use a cotton pad are full of bs) and I apply the toner with my hands, directly to my skin. I waste no product and I get the full benefits of the toner. It's hydrating and it very gently exfoliates so my other skincare items absorb better. Now that I use it correctly (and I have a better routine) it works for me! --- To preface this review, I am in my 30's and I know what my skin likes and what it doesn't like. I'm also oily and I live in a dry climate. This toner, I can tell would be really good for anyone with normal to dry skin but because I am oily, this toner is too much for me. It never properly absorbs and it makes my other skincare products sit on top of my skin, which in turn makes me more oily. The reason being, with oily skin, dead skin cells accumulate faster than other skin types because of all the sebum that is being produced. Again, I know my skin type and I know what my skin likes. I'm sure this toner is great for others, but it does not work for me. I really only purchased this because I liked the ingredients list and I heard this toner was very popular in Korea.

This toner came recommended by several k beauty influences that i follow. It is definitely hydrating. It is a watery texture so it won't feel as nourishing as a milky toner, which works well for my oily leaning skin. It also is a gentle daily exfoliating step and my skin was never sensitized from it. I felt like the amount was more than some other toner I've tried so it lasted me longer making it more cost-effective. I've heard of some people using it as scalp care so I'm curious to try that as well.

A lot of toners on the market steer away from the purpose of a toner. Many of them are full of active ingredients, fragrance, minerals, and abrasive ingredients. I sought out the Dokdo toner for the fact that it is water-like and does what a toner is supposed to do, hydrate and prepare the skin to absorb your regimen like a sponge. I am entirely happy with how this feels on my skin, calming and hydrating. It doesn’t get in the way of my retinols, AHA’s, or creams, and is perfect for night and day usage.

I recently started on thr Korean Beauty Skincare back in December 2023 & I LOVE this toner! It's moisturizing & doesn't leave my face feeling dry like other products I've used for my skin. My face feels really clean & ready for more products to be applied to my face, like a blank canvas 😁 Best part, it's good on sensitive skin (for those wondering) & there's no smell. Not to mention, it's a very mild exfoliating moisturizer as well!

It’s a nice toner if you’re looking for something water based and easy on the skin. I’ve been using for a couple months now (5 months), and it’s been a game changer for my skincare routine. I use it twice a day- once in the morning and once at night. No breakouts for me so far. Leaves my skin hydrated and I use it as the first step to my skincare routine. Makes everything else easily absorb into the skin. Plus, there’s no fragrance added to it.

This Toner keeps my skin incredibly hydrated without feeling sticky. It absorbs quickly, soothes dryness, and preps my skin perfectly for the rest of my routine. Simple, effective, and now a staple in my skincare lineup.

I’ve been using the Round Lab Dokdo Toner (200ml) for a while now, and overall, I really like it. The texture is lightweight and refreshing, and it absorbs quickly without leaving any sticky or heavy feeling. It does a great job of gently hydrating my skin and prepping it for the rest of my routine. I’ve noticed that it helps calm down redness and keeps my skin feeling smooth and balanced. The reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 is that while it’s a solid toner, it’s not necessarily a “game changer.” It’s very gentle and effective, but if you’re looking for dramatic results, you might not find them here. That said, for daily use and maintaining healthy skin, it’s a dependable choice and worth trying out.

Ho usato questo toner per qualche settimana e ne sono davvero soddisfatta. La texture è leggera e acquosa, si assorbe rapidamente senza appesantire la pelle e lascia una sensazione di idratazione fresca dopo la detersione. La formula aiuta a rimuovere delicatamente le cellule morte e a rigenerare la pelle senza irritarla, il che lo rende perfetto anche per pelli sensibili. Consigliato a chi cerca un tonico idratante, lenitivo e delicato da usare ogni giorno!
