Nutritic Lip Balm for Very Dry Lips with Shea Butter, 0.15oz

I chew gum around 6hrs a day at work to keep my ears popped and have to wear a facemask (extra moisture) which usually ends up leaving the corners of my mouth raw, red, n looking like a cold sore from drying repeatedly there. This feels so soothing and doesn't cause inflammation or drying like using chapstick repeatedly does. It lasts a fair while and I cannot emphasize how much it helps with both healing and protecting. Feels like it actually ADDS moisture and then seals it in without any waxy residue. If your lips are a problem child, this is a holy grail. Notes: - Light Gloss finish - Product feels very soft/buttery, probably best to keep away from hot locations.

I am still thorougly enjoying this product after having bought it back in May of this year. When I received it, it actually came in a 3-pack which I didn't know I was getting; I thought it was only one. After all, I wasn't complaining. I bought this item sometime last year for the first time via the official La Roche-Posay website and was intriguingly impressed. So, I bought some more; this time off of Amazon. Since 2017, I was using Chapstick Total Hydration Soothing Oasis which was discontinued in 2024. So since it's been discontinued, I hadn't been able to find anything comparable to it until I stumbled upon La Roche-Posay Nutritic Lip Balm. Firstly, it has no smell or taste which is perfect for me and is the same as the Soothing Oasis. I don't typically like chapstick with a smell or a taste. Secondly, it glides across my lips and provides a stunning shine just as the Chapstick Total Hydration Soothing Oasis did. I highly recommend this product for purchase.

Sometime in the last 3 or 4 years, I developed an allergy to lanolin, which is a common ingredient in many lip balm. I've been using an all organic lip balm without lanolin, but lately my lips have started to itch and peel again. I hated to spend $16 on one lip balm, but decided to try it out. I got it last night and have applied it a few times since then. No itching. No greasy feeling. This is definitely a winner and worth the money. Highly recommend!

I had very rough, flaky lips before purchasing this product... so much so that my upper lip line was hardly distinguishable. After applying frequently for about a day and a half, my lips were softened enough that I could exfoliate to reveal much softer, healthier lips. By about day three they looked so much better. I have very sensitive skin so I especially like that it has no scent or flavor. It does get used up very quickly if you start out with very dry lips. Even with less frequent application, I wish it lasted a little bit longer. My lips definitely feel and look healthier after using this for about 2 months, but I don't think it offers long-lasting moisture. I need to reapply at least 3-5 times a day to avoid regressing to the point I was at before. It's the best I've found so far, but it is unfortunately very expensive. The twist advance does not lock in place, so I have to awkwardly grip the barrel with two fingers while applying so that it doesn't get pushed back. If the packaging was better I'd give it five stars because it really has helped a lot.

I love LRP’s nutritic lip balm. I don’t know if the LRP makes it anymore but I can still get it from Amazon. I’ve used LRP’s products in the past and have always been very happy with the results. I don’t have troubled skin. I’m just a guy that doesn’t want to spend large sums of money on face soap and lotion. If it were up to me I’d still be using my multiwash product to wash everything head to toe, the floor, bathroom toilet and my car. But some years ago a girl I was dating begged me to start thinking about my skin. So I took her advice, we broke up but I still heed her advice and take some consideration for skin care. It’s I like nutritic because it’s light and smooth and doesn’t have any strong feminine scents. I use this twice a day like clock work. Once in the morning before I leave the house and once when I come home after I’ve showered, ready to jump into bed. The way the balm comes out is like a woman’s lipstick. The balm is inside a tube and there is a mechanism that spins the balm up ready for application. I like to retract all the way so the edge of the cover doesn’t smoosh into the balm. It’s a little pricey for a lip balm (IMO) but I think it’s worth it. I will use this for 6-9 months. That’s twice a day everyday. Oh I don’t slather it on. It’s one swipe on the upper lip and one swipe on the lower lip.

It's a decent lip balm but it doesn'tdo miracles. It has no scent and it stays on longer than some others I've used. At $12.74 it was still an essential product for me for over two years. I just went to reorder it and the price jumped to $16.99! I understand inflation, but $4.25 price increase is a bit excessive. The size is the same as pharmacy lip balm (0.15 oz.), it only looks bulkier because the retraction part is larger compared to regular balm, as you can see in the photos. Way overpriced for what it is.

Works well for painful chapped lips

Was mich besonders überzeugt, ist die langanhaltende Pflegewirkung. Viele Stifte wirken nur kurzfristig, man trägt sie auf, und nach einer halben Stunde sind die Lippen wieder trocken. Beim Nutritic-Stift ist das anders: Er spendet intensive Feuchtigkeit, die spürbar anhält, und pflegt gleichzeitig, statt nur kurzfristig zu „versiegeln“. Selbst bei sehr trockenen oder spröden Lippen, etwa im Winter oder nach einem Tag in der Sonne, wirkt er regenerierend und beruhigend. Die Textur ist angenehm weich, ohne zu schmierig zu sein, und lässt sich gleichmäßig auftragen. Außerdem hat der Stift keinen aufdringlichen Geschmack oder Duft, was ich persönlich sehr schätze. Er fühlt sich einfach natürlich an – wie eine schützende Schicht, die den Lippen hilft, sich zu erholen.

Seriously, this lip balm is a lifesaver for dry lips. It's become my go-to for whenever my lips are feeling chapped. The texture is really nice, not too greasy or sticky, which I appreciate. It actually feels like it's doing something to repair my lips, not just sitting on top. I've tried so many others that just didn't measure up. This one provides such soothing relief, especially overnight. My lips feel so much softer and smoother after using it regularly. Definitely a repurchase for me!

Great product- I’ve always avoided lip balms even when my lips are dry because whenever I did try them I’d get a cold sore for some reason. This is honestly the only balm I’ve ever found in years that doesn’t cause a reaction. It also leaves lips lovely and soft and creates a barrier. I highly recommend.
