Very sturdy, pleasant to look at and very big!
First I must say that this was a lot bigger than I thought it would be which isn't a bad thing plus it was very well protected in the box! However there are some issues with it that I was able to correct because I'm a crafty SOB.1) There definitely is a pretty big gap behind the pull out drawer and like anyone who would be putting a small animal inside I was afraid my lil furball would get stuck in that gap so I stuck a piece of the long foam that was part of the packaging to the back of the drawer. I used heavy duty glue dots which I swear by and it worked perfectly! Now, because I'm putting a hedgehog in the enclosure I'm not worried about her chewing as hedgehogs dont chew but if you're putting a chewer in there maybe this wouldn't work so well for you maybe you would have to use a sturdier material but for me it worked great.2) There is no place to hang a water bottle... I purchased hook screws, drilled a few small holes and screwed them in on the side. Now the side material isn't very thick so be careful also I used small felt bumpers to cover the sharp end of the screws sticking out on the outside of enclosure (they were sticking out about a centimeter or 2) Mine turned out perfect!3) I thought it a good idea to make walls out of foam board, self adhesive vinyl, zip ties and glue dots to keep her from falling off the edge, it's a long way down for a 7week old hedgie! The wall looks great and is very sturdy! But then I thought well what if she tumbles down that ramp?! So I made a landing pillow! Just as I thought I was all done I realized there is no way she will be able to climb up to even reach that ramp to the hideout! So I built a lil ramp from the bottom to the short shelf out of the same material for the walls. After finishing that I finally put her in!Eventually I came to the conclusion that she is just too small still to be able to use any of the ramps leading up to the lower shelf and hideout on top sooooo I will just use the bottom until she is big enough to be able to climb better. For now I'm using the top for storage for her food extra toys etc.I'm giving this 4 instead of 5 stars as it's well designed for most small animals, very easy to assemble, well packaged and isn't an eye sore in my lovely home. However the lack of a pre drilled hole was slightly annoying probably more to someone who doesn't have the right tools or know how and the gap is a huge issue not only for small critters being stuck in it but also for poop falling in the gap!I still really like this enclosure and my lil Emi seems to like the space too! I look forward to watching her grow into it and being able to utilize the upper level one day.

Good product at a fair price for its function and value!
I had bunnies as a kid. I knew what I needed and knew I wanted something that looks more like furniture than a traditional cage. This is by FAR the best option on the market for function and style.Ideally, it should be about $140 but the additional $20-30 spent is worth it in my opinion to not have the pet housing stick out like a sore thumb amongst decor.I’m not sure why people are talking about needing Velcro—just flip the water feeder brackets over and bend in the opposite direction and hang on the inside of the cage rather than the outside with the nozzle poking through. And those who are complaining about leaking? They must not be ensuring the drop drawer is fitted all the way back onto rear ledge...we’ve never had a single drop occur outside of the cage;) I highly recommend tossing the droppings into a medium sized litter box on the bottom...our rabbit was trained within a week;)We keep hay on the lower level next to the litter and the upper level clear other than food bowls and dangling toysOnly downsides which are just more along the lines of wishing for different amnenities rather than critical function:Den becomes too small as the bunny grows into med/large size, so we simply removed it and the ramp became unnecessary for our pet as well (we removed it) since he prefers to jump up and down the levels.Another wish would for it being bigger. We have actually talked about getting another one and with 2 cutouts, connecting them lol. Don’t get me wrong, this is not a tiny cage, it’s just once you see your little buddy in there enjoying it, it’s hard not to wish there was a deluxe size offered too!Overall, this is a good product at a fair price for its function and value. I am giving it 4 stars instead of 5 for the reasons listed above—not clear why the den wasn’t made larger to accommodate a standard size bunny?

No latches on lid
Very pretty and easy to put together. However the addition of latches to secure the lid and the litter tray would be a huge improvement. I diy’d some that work but would rather have a fully secure enclosure especially with cats in the house.
