good toy
Your browser does not support HTML5 video. Although it is easy to install, you must have 2 people to install it. The base has wheels for easy movement. However, you usually need to prepare 2 or 3 sandbags to press and fix on the base. Its base can also be filled with water, but it will be very heavy to move in the future. It can adjust the height of the basket, and adults and children can play. Good choice for parent-child sports!

Great hoop and great price.
Excellent product for the price - very stable, height adjustment is easy to change. It’s useable all ages groups. All the hardware is included. The installation is easy, but you do need a second person to accomplish a couple of the steps. We used the bucket of the sand to weight down the base. It works great. It looks beautiful that it’s up and the whole family love it.

Not Bad but...
Overall I like it but there are some things that I don't like about it.1- the hoop net rings are not evenly spaced so this looks a bit off but its not a big deal2- the backboard plexi-glass is not very thick (wish it would have been twice the thickness)3- The sturdiness of the whole this is ok but it does move (wobbles a bit) when the ball hits it hard (maybe could have been solved by having a better way of attaching bottom pole to base with a solid connection).

Not bad for the price
Once built, this thing is solid. But some caveats:-the plates that came with it that attach to the rear of the backboard had an asymmetric hole pattern different from the symmetric hole pattern in the instructions. This made it confusing as to how they were supposed to be attached, and I had to read a couple of pages ahead for clues (the two holes towards the end of each plate go on top as it turns out, as otherwise the top of the pole won't sit high enough on the backboard).-it was very difficult to line up the holes just right for the pins connecting the backboard to the pole.-the top adjustment knob was difficult to screw in to a point where the thing is stable enough. You only have to do this once though...afterwards it only takes a slight turn to pull the spring-loaded adjuster out for height adjustments. But until I got it right that first time, the backboard has an unacceptable level of sway, and I wonder how many people leave it like this thinking it is normal.-As others have noted, the base extends out under the hoop, so often when a basket is made, the ball gets kicked out unpredictably as it bounces off the corner of the base. This is super annoying. I may have to add some padding to soften that contact.-PARTICULARLY PROBLEMATIC: there was chipped paint and actual RUST in a couple of spots on the backboard frame. Seems pretty indefensible for a brand new item. This also betrayed the fact that the paint used for the metal pieces of this goal is of very low quality and thin.I still gave it 4 stars because for the money it's not bad. Looks more expensive than it is, and seems sturdy enough once you get it right. The base is nice and long behind the basket with sufficient support beams. If not for the issue with the base protruding too far out front it would serve its purpose perfectly. Just not sure how long it will last given the rust issue.

Good basketball hoop for Backyard
So glad I bought this hoop for my backyard. It makes a great outdoor activity for my kids, otherwise they will be watching movies on TV/tablet all day long , which is a big concern for me. The installing was easy which takes about 30 minutes by myself. During this quarantine period, we can only go to backyard to play basketball. I put water in the base and makes it quite sturdy. The hoop design is good, it can adjust the height for my kids to play.

Fill the base immediately
We bought this for our granddaughter for her birthday and her brothers love it, too! It was a hit! But before we could get the base filled, the wind blew it over and the hoop bent. We were able to straighten it out some, but be aware that it is a bit top heavy and the hoop is a little weak. So, if you're going to set it up, be prepared to fill the base immediately, or you may have a mishap.

It's ok for the price.
Let's start with the packaging. Everything came neatly packaged in a 46x30x11 box. The provided tools, as cheap as they are, came shrink wrapped to a piece to cardboard.I bought this for my 11 rear old grandson. Using the directions provided he was able to assemble it, with a little help from me, in about and hour and a half.Everything went pretty well until it came to bolting the backboard assembly to the pole. The pole, which came in three parts, is very thin and light weight. In order to tighten the bolts enough to keep it from moving you have to crank down on it. In doing this the upright pole gets very egg-shaped and it still didn't get tight enough. I disassembled that part and cut two pieces of 1/2" electrical EMT, 2-5/8" long and inserted them in the tube (see pictures) and ran the bolts back through. It was able to be snugged up enough to keep it from wobbling. It's fairly easily adjusted for height but at the full ten foot height it is sort of wobbly. It is fine for an eleven year old and his sister but not really for teens and older.I'll give it 6-8 months. If it last longer, I will come back with an update.

Base cracked after 2 months -- Edited Twice
I purchased this for my teenager early last summer. It worked great until it sprung a leak after 2 months...(Using water instead of sand in the base so that it could be drained and transported into the basement for winter. I just don't like the "self draining" aspect.)Edit: I just received a message from the seller offering to replace the defective basketball hoop. I accepted and will again update this review when they follow through.Edit 2: I receive the replacement hoop. It's the cold of winter here so I'll setup the hoop in the spring and update the review then. My teen is very excited though that it got replaced.
