HI THEREI'm sharing my personal experience & views on this Amazon basics Neoprene dumbbells.Price paid 1100rsSeller CloudtailTotal 2 dumbbells.The weight of each one is 8 pounds or 3.7 kg.Colour is bright yellow, smooth surface with excellent grip.Quality of this pair of dumbbells is great. Full value for the money paid. One time investment, the dumbbells will last for years.ANY NEGATIVES?The colour looks as if it will become dirtiy soon. Other than that no negatives at all.FINAL WORDReasonably priced excellent pair . The weight is 8 pounds. Definitely not for beginnersAmazon basics product. So not much to think.Would I recommend if you are interested in buying?Obviously yes, I would!HOPE THIS REVIEW IS USEFUL TO YOU

Very nice, good quality dumbbells. You get 2x8lb dumbbells like in the product description.My very minor complaint is about the color. I knew what color I was getting when I placed the order. They might collect dust over time and look dirty. I'm sure they can be washed clean.

The order was delivered just before the lockdown began and was put to good use. This is one of the better designs as the hexagon ensures it stays in place when stored.The grip is comfortable and thick enough for most palm sizes. Both weigh the same which is important if used in tandem.So far despite daily use, sweat, dirt, the units have stayed clean and there is no odor. Yet to wipe/clean them but I am not expecting any surprises. Overall if weights are equal and it is practical to use, I would buy similar design & quality from another brand if it were cheaper. But this is as cheap as it got at the point of purchase and am happy with it

the cover on both dumbesl is hving small gap mark as if torned. keeping it n using for fee days... will reset the review aftr using it.overall inside material seems to b iron based on its solid heaviness. i hope its iron.

Don't go for it....its not value of money product...there are more option you can get easily at market at reasonable price also

These are of good quality. The weight feels a little heavy for a beginner like me but I have got used to it. They are 4 lbs each (1.8 kg each). Grip is good, because of neoprene coating. Was helpful during lockdown. Bought for 699 Rs

Item recieved in safe and well packed form.It look superb and durable, it is mat textured and has fine grip. If I need to comment in terms of rate/kg then it is reasonably priced and value for moneyI recommend it over other available glossy dumbles.

Even kids above 5 yrs will be able to handle it...they even love to work out with parents... colour is very cute..& same as shown....Go for it!!!!! My son Just Loved it ❤️💙❤️

Do not buy this product. I’m 20 weeks pregnant and recently bought these weights as part of a prenatal Pilates routine. While using one of the weights, I felt a sharp object impale my finger. I looked down and found a thin needle sticking out of the weight that had come through the material and stabbed my hand. Needless to say, I will be writing a formal complaint as this caused me to bleed and caused a lot of pain.

Have you heard of brand new dumbbells splitting in half? Well, here they are! The product arrived last Wednesday. My 17 year old did bicep curls only twice. One of them suddenly broke (photo) and fell on the floor with a thump. Thankfully, there was neither physical injury nor property damage. The material looks like some kind of compound, heavy but isn't like steel but more like coal. When a company like Amazon places their brand name on private label products, you'd think these products are thoroughly vetted. I'm really disappointed with Amazon. I hope they'll pull this product out.

Arrived in excellent condition. I love them. I just got back into exercising but don’t have room for a bench and no gym access.I had 5lb dumbbells that were great for getting back into it, but quickly became insufficient. I was holding both in the same hand for a 10lb weight but it was hurting my fingers, so I ordered these 12lb ones. What a difference.I do overhead press, side raise, front raise, bent over raises, shrugs, bicep curls, triceps extensions, chest flys, bench press, skull crushers, calf raises, and squats with these.My 12lbs are becoming obsolete for some exercises, but I have workarounds. I do chest flys first then go into bench presses immediately after. You’ll be surprised at how heavy 12lb dumbbells feel doing this.I need to get the 20lb ones soon, but will still get great use from my 12lb weights.

I always bought rubber Hex dumbbells with the steel handles, but there were two things I disliked: (1) the rubber often stinks of old tires, (2) the handles are often smaller than I like for a good grip. These neoprene are less expensive, they stay put/don't roll around on the floor because they have straight edges (like the hex rubber style), and they have a large grip. Overall, I am happy with these for my home gym.

I should had listened to some of the reviews. They are definitely thicker than my 10s and shorter. Awkward to hold when doing certain moves such as bicep curls, hammer curls, etc. I’m trying to resell instead of sending back. But I will say, they came undamaged. But shipping took about 2wks even for a Prime member. Also, if you don’t mind the bulkness, they are reasonably priced. Where I live, these would cost 80.00 plus tax. I got these on sale for less than that.
