We Got Nuts Wasabi Green Peas 5 Lb Bulk Bag

I have been ordering 4 or 5 lbs bag every two weeks from this company. Last two bags were horrible. The color is off (yellowish/greenish wasabi coating instead of usual white color) and the taste completely stale and no hint of wasabi flavor. I almost threw up. I threw away both bags and will never order from this company again.

Unfortunately, when trying these they wound up being weirdly hot and quality unusable. I love wasabi peas and they are ment to be crunchy but these wound up being extremely hard to even initially chew into. If i chewed into them, there was a small hard core insixe that was unchewable. For the sake of my teeth i wound uo stopping. I have this product a few trys. Different parts of the bag etc. It just didn't measure up. All weird hot and not really edible. Peas should not have a lkttle over cooked core in them like a little rock. I wanted these to be great, but they just don't stand up to the Hapi brand in the cans. You know wanted to buy in bulk. Disappointed and out the money. Maybe it was a bad batch? Not sure. However, bottom line is they were a waste.

I love the product buying this and their rival brand many times. However, they switched to a package similar to a Baggie type. The last time I purchased them (Summer 2016) the side blew out while reaching in for a third handful. Keeping them fresh during the summer was impossible after that. I bought them once after that and the bag made it through. However, I must admit, I started buying the rival brand more often.Also worth mentioning : This company did send me an out-of -the -blue email before this incident thanking me for my business. I really appreciated that.

So the first bite is definitely different from the Hapi and may be disappointing to some but the label clears up the mystery, Hapi has 4g Sugars and these have 2g. So hot, but not as sugary. On the other hand, if you have to restrict sodium, Hapi has about half the sodium. If you are looking for fiber in your diet, though, one single serving of these (and who only eats an ounce, anyway?) is 16% RDA compared to 2%.

Got a faded, old bag from packed & sold from "we got nuts" with about 9 months left in the expiration. Was worried, However they are GREAT, just the perfect amount of "Bite" and crunch as compared to purchases from overpriced supermarkets and BJ's (bland). Very similar to nuts.com. However I fear the next time I go to buy, another Seller will be featured and something else will be substituted instead as is the Amazon way. Hope "we got nuts" restocks soon..

My son LOVES these. I was sceptical (buying them in bulk) that they would be as good as the ones he was buying in small packages (at great expense!), but he says they are GREAT!! Too hot for my sensitive tummy, but I'm glad I found an affordable way for him to satisfy his cravings. Getting him to eat any kinds of fruits and veggies has always been difficult, but I've found he loves dried produce.

I liked the sharpness of the Hoosier Hill Farm wasabi but I cracked a tooth on an uncooked pea. The We Got Nuts kernels are larger and more cooked. The wasabi coating is flavorful enough. I'm going to stay with this as my preferred snack.

I found my 5 lb bag of Wasabi Peas not very hot at all. They looked good, so I took a chance. I didn't realize they were not returnable. They were cheaper than some of my other options, so you get what you pay for. When I went to send them back, I discovered there were not eligible for return or refund. The box to check was not there and anything regarding this product was greyed out. I definitely will not buy them again. I like a wasabi pea to have some heat.
