The best look and size and correct material for ashtray
After looking to almost all to get newer style , I decided to go with the same product I have 3 of them in each vehicle for years . Except this time I ordered two for my other two vehicles . the best size and correct material for ashtray not cheap junk plastic others use .

Works well and is well made
Nice that it has a cover and it also comes with a magnet that you can stick to a surface where you want to mount it. It seals well when you close the cover

USE IT AS A COIN BOX for us non-smokers
I love my new car. Despite the 10 (yes 10) cup holders and storage areas, I had no compartment to put loose change. After a long search, I decided to buy this and adapt! I took out the metal cigarette portion and now it works perfectly to hold loose change, barrettes, ponytail holders, safety pins and errant buttons!(...and other things girls need in the car!) I DON'T smoke and never thought of using this "ashtray" but there is another function for item. Perhaps the company will hear this and actually adapt the style for change.

Glad to finally have an ashtray for my car
Glad to finally have an ashtray for my car, but there are some definite downsides to this product. Pretty annoying that there's no way to actually close the top, would be nice if they had a version that it could actually stay close. I've also had some issues with the whole upper half popping off when I go to pick it up and move it-again, it would be nice if it clasped more securely. Overall, holds my ashes and random trash without mess, unless the top popped off like it does occasionally. If you're going to be keeping this ashtray in one spot and not moving it around a whole bunch, and also don't care about having one that is aesthetically pleasing, then this could be the ashtray for you! On a personal note however, I would not buy it again.
