Great Brush for Softening Faux Wood Grain Finishes
I don't have a lot of experience with other brands so I don't have anything to compare it to but for my use it worked great. I used it on water based glaze tinted to use for a faux wood finish. It's really soft and you use it to sweep it across the glaze to soften any harsh lines. For those that are also new to its use, I learned that you are supposed to sweep it across the surface it by moving your arm from your elbow and keeping your wrist straight instead of using your wrist to sweep it side to side. I did exactly that, keeping it even across the surface, and with its very soft bristles I wound up with some very nice results. It was very easy to clean, the glaze has a slow drying time so it never hardened up on the brush. I read that rinsing it with water and a little soap removes the paint and that adding a little bit of conditioner to the ends of the brush before hanging to dry (with bristles pointing down) keeps the bristles soft so I did that. I used and washed it six times in a 2 week period and it felt like new each time.

Great brush for any faux finishing projects
Great brush for any faux finishing projects. Used it to marblize columns at a local business and worked nicely. I'd recommend it as it's better than you will find at any big box store and even the most hardcore art stores.

Nice brush
good price on this price. On first use, hairs come out...which was disappointing...

Too Expensive
The brush was okay but I thought it was pretty expensive. I used other brushes and got the same results so in hindsight I think I spent money where I didn't need to.

Badger brush substitute
It works as required it has very very soft quills. The price was great too, however I had to pay for shipping.

A useless brush
This is the worst brush I have ever used. It is incapable of blending anything (even the thinnest glazes) because the bristles are like limp threads. It also sheds these bristles all over your work from the first time you use it! I am also an artist who paints in oils so I have experience with many types of brushes. You can trust me when I say this one is worthless. Hopefully this review will spare others from wasting their time and money on this. It's going back!
