I like the product --- I gave 5 stars, because I feel it gives the best value in this price range.But this product has its limitations.The maximum range of 500m is optimistic. More importantly, the instructions say that obstacles will slightly reduce this maximum range. That is not correct. The range of our unit is dramatically reduced by obstacles.In our case, when the transmitter is set on 100, the collar will start beeping within as little as 200 feet, about 60m. Only about 10% of the advertised max range.It is therefore important to place the transmitter in a location that minimizes interference.I would love to see a unit that used a lower frequency and a different antenna to minimize this problem.A couple of other suggestions: 1) Include a couple insulating covers for the shock prongs. some users might not want to use the shock feature. 2) The instruction manual is thorough , but the translation into English, could be a bit clearer.

This system is highly flawed. I was hopeful and was trying to be optimistic but it is awful. Now I have to go through the hastle of returning it.the collars are super inconsistent. They interfere with everything, a fence, a wall ect... They also go off randomly inside the safe zone.Third, the shock is way too weak.

It didn't phase my dog. It would beep but my dog didn't get shocked. So I let it charge for a couple of days and tried it again. The transmitter batteries were dead so I had to keep the unit plugged in. So much for being portable. It never put out a shock, just beeps. I would not buy this again. Save your money. Get a better one. You get what you pay for. Hope this helps.

I'm a big fan of the electric dog fence! I use it to keep my Goldendoodle Simba in the yard and writhin the range of the parks' borders we have gone too. I like it more than the portable electric collar I had, for i can simply play with Simba and not have to be worried about him darting out of range of the portable collar.

This system worked great... For all of about 60 days. It's easy to setup and it worked well until it didn't. Now, any time we turn on the collar it beeps constantly scaring our poor dog to death. It's almost as though it has lost connectivity to the base unit, but I can't seem to find a way to "resync" it. I guess you get what you pay for.

I want to return this item but said it's over the time limit , I am a Cancer patient always have Dr. Appointments did not try to return on time limit. I have a 2 year old Shepard mix and needed a electronic fence system for Lizzie but this never worked right and she would get shocked all the time so we did not use on her seemed to be inhuman to use have all parts hardly ever used and will not use again. Could I please send this back. Thank You Jean Martorano

I read good reviews about this product and tried it out but it was a bad idea.....kept beeping every time and shocked my dog even when he was inside his allowed area, he became afraid of the beeping sound and did not want to get out anymore. I tried to save my self some money by trying this one but it was not worth the horrible moment my puppy went through. Don’ t buy this!

This works fine, but there needs to be a way to put multiple dogs on this system, ITS now a WASTE because of my multiple dogsthe directions are horrible..any metal like a trailer home that's older that has metal studs.. Forget about it
