UPDATE: I am sending back because the calibration is terrible and the third time I tried flying it, it spazzed out and ripped my leg to shreds. I had welts and even cut. It also broke the blades, of which I never received replacements for. Not worth any amount of money after this experience.This drone is my first drone. My husband has a very expensive one and I am too scared to use his so I wanted to try getting my own. I am not recommending this to anyone that doesn’t have experience flying a drone because it doesn’t hover, so you constantly have to be in control. The case is nice and it is supposed to come with spare blades but mine were missing which is a real bummer because I’m sure I will need them shortly. Every drone has a learning curve. Hoping this one will work for me.

The media could not be loaded.  After analyzing this drone and taking it for around 10 flights, I can concur that this drone is advertised falsely. No matter the battery level of the drone or how good my connection was, I could not get it to shoot in 4k, instead it seems to only shoot in 1080p.I have encountered several problems with the app as well. There is no doubt that flying the drone would use a lot of battery power from your phone because of all the data that is being transferred back and forth; however, I have experienced my phone suddenly dieing after closing the app. (This happened to me twice using a Galaxy s7).I have also noticed the drone suddenly dipping down without any warning at all and no matter how hard I try to pull back up, it would still continue to fall to the ground, no matter the battery level. I'm not sure if it is because of interference with satellites or some faulty programming but it leaves me to think that I'm taking an awful risk whenever I fly this drone outside. You also don't have the choice to fly it inside I later discovered. Unless it has a substantial connection to around 8 satellites or more, you can't even take off.As for the video, I am using the return to home function, which I will admit, works well, however what you see in the picture is the highest quality video you can get from it.I cannot recommend this product for the price it is selling for, especially due to its false camera advertising and unreliability.

Overview: OK drone with poor instructions and usability, OK photosAlthough this drone boasts of a 4k camera, the actual video is only 1280 × 720 MP4. Photo quality is better than other cheap drones, at 3840 × 2160 and 1.4 – 1.9 MB JPEG each, but is still not equivalent to even a cheap point and shoot camera. The camera vertical tilt is very limited: it hardly seems to make a difference at all when trying to adjust it. The ultra-wide angle lens means that the photos resolution is spread along a wide picture, and the photos and videos show a substantial fish-eye effect.The start-up instructions are kind of hard to follow, and the lights indicating it is ready are not always consistent. In general, the instructions are not well written and seem to leave out a step or two. For example, in the fly-around-in-a-circle mode, once you set it, it won’t start until a kick on the right joystick sets it into motion. I couldn’t get the “follow-me” mode to work at all. The map function is difficult to figure out: buttons overlap and it doesn’t seem to respond consistently to taps.The remote keeps beeping and I couldn’t figure out why. Return to home is pretty accurate, landing back on the picnic table it took off from.This weighs 214 grams on my kitchen scale. The case with everything comes in at 13x9x3 inches. I measured about 65 db of noise at 2 meters away.

The media could not be loaded.  Let me start by saying I have the t4....LOVE it....wanted higher farther gps return...outta the box the t5 seemed a bit more solid..so I'm getting happy...it is terrible!! The camera is rotated in the housing..see video..1 of the feet is inside the motor housing...sounds like a baby rattle..now to mechanical...will not hover in place more than a few seconds...it either...drops almost to the ground for no reason...or slowly starts make larger circles and decend til about 10-15 ft then nose dive...tipped a propeller already...2 days old..the only that has worked almost right was the waypoint but it crashed also in the end... definitely returning

I just got it a few days ago, and it looks great!The drone comes in a cool case that feels good and protective.The drone is light and easy to work with, also comes with defenders for the blades and a user guide.Sweet product to give to someone's birthday or special event :)UPDATE:I was very excited when I first got the drone, it looked cool, and the case it came in made it look impressive.I couldn't test it because of weather conditions, but once I tried the drone, it's garbage.One battery never functions, the cell-phone holder broke before I even used it, the GPS doesn't work correctly, and this all thing feels like a trick I fell into.I can't recommend this product!

I experienced the same stuff you read in the 1, 2, and 3 star reviews. I learned that what people were saying is true. This drone will not fly unless it finds 8 satellites, which essentially means no flying indoors, and you have to be in a special spot, or no fly. You can wait 2 mins or more. Calibration takes forever and you pretty much have to do it each flight. And the one thing that crossed the line was out of the blue, the drone drops out of the sky. You can’t control it, it does it’s own thing. Maybe it loses signal, or whatever happens. It’s dangerous, and if I showed the picture of the blade cuts I have on my leg when the drone was hovering uncontrolled and aimless I think people would freak out.Last. The instructions seem to overlook landing. Who needs that.But there are cool things. If it worked it would be a cool drone. The maker can take this feedback and make them better, so I give 2 stars
