I just love this! What a great idea and tons of fun! It comes in a small box, little sea creature figures and a pack of beads. The sachet with beads is tiny, but they expand massively, for the set up above (42×30cm tray) I used just a bit over half a sachet of beads, I heard they can be left to dry and re-used. It says to leave them in water to expand overnight, but j think 3-4hs is enough. Sea creatures are small but nice, good quality and bright, and a good selection (has everything, dolphin, crab, starfish, penguins, shark, sea horse, seal, fish, octopus, seal, squid etc - 24 all together, no plants, these were mine) - I'll be able to use them for other activities in the future. I was thinking of buying the figures and beads separately but this is actually better value. So so pleased! Would definitely recommend!

Absolutely great set for a complete sensory tray experience, just put a layer of beads on the bottom of a glass jar and fill the jar up to half way with water, I would guess you could even fill it up with more to make the beads expand a little more (I have yet to try it) and leave overnight, the result is fun and looks good too. The fact that the sea animals are included is just such a huge bonus, they're lovely and perfect for our sea-life learning in homeschool.

First, the product was very poorly packaged, crammed into its box without separating different content types and could have been easily damaged.Second, it contained no instructions, which are specifically needed with this product.Third, contained no warnings, also specifically needed since product is for children.Fourth, the return and refund policy meant that if you had to return the product, you would only get back half of what you paid.Fifth, I have bought other similar products, and this version was highly overpriced, especially in view of the four things I have mentioned.Will not buy from this seller again, and do not recommend them.

These waterbeads are good, but after expanding they go back to their original size, getting smaller and smaller. So it is dangerous if your child will find one of them on the floor and put in his mouth or his ear. They are not toxic but they can be dangerous if they expand in the body.

Using this with my disabled son. Sea creatures are good size and bright, balls hundreds and hundreds made them all up at once really didn’t need got too many now. Have sealed some in plastic pockets with the creatures very good sensory toy and can freeze for another sensation. Also put in large bowl with a rubber cover hole in great sensory play.

I bought this set for my 2.5 year old son and he really likes it. There's a really good amount of water beads which I reuse regularly. There is a really good range of sea animals which are really good quality for the price. We often fish for them in the bath or play with them in sand and playdough. A really good investment.

In the description of this product it states the beads are ocean coloured beads. I got multi coloured beads, not what I paid for or was expecting. I now need to pur hase more from someone else, very frustrating and at £13 Iits terrible.

Small enough to fit into my under the sea sensory bottle.
