Boye Starting Points Suede Slipper Sole, Large

Excellent product. I bought socks from American Eagle and stitched to bottom. Been wearing them for months now. They are also not too hot for Florida, most of them you buy that have leather soles, have wool tops that are too hot for Florida. They come with some lambs wool padding that feels great.

Love the workmanship of these. Problem is the large measurement includes the leather sides. Stated 10.5" long. The sole measures 9.5" long. Pattern/Paperwork states they are 10" long. I love leather soled slippers and the place I used to get my down-filled leather soled slippers stopped making them, so I'm happy to find these. The soles are great to run outside in, even if the ground is wet because they don't absorb water. No slipping on floors with these leathers. These are comfy, warm soles with punched holes on the edge for attaching, great product and price.

Slipper soles were hard to find around a few months ago and I was lucky to find Boye's suede soles. I knitted a pair of slipper socks from Patons and decided to purchase this item. The holes sometimes weren't side by side, but it could still be sewn to the knitted socks. I had to take them apart to tailor them a bit, but it's comfy to walk around the house in. The large is 10.5 inches long. I wear a 10 and that's why I had to make it just a tad shorter. However, I would buy this product again.

Service was prompt and product in good condition. However, it is to fit a 8.5 shoe size and it was too short when I finished the project. Also, they were so wide that they were uncomfortable.

I bought these soles and no pattern was included. Called two different Michaels stores and they checked in the packaging and there were no knitting directions in either box in either store. None of the contact us/help links on the website for this item is a live link. So I have soles, yarn, needles and stitch holder and no directions. Any ideas?

Now the bottoms of the handknit socks don't get ruined after all that work. Also, nonslip.
