Boye Starting Points Suede Slipper Sole, Large

These are comfy, warm soles with punched holes on the edge for attaching, great product and price.

Haven't actually knitted tops yet but size here was more my concern and what I thought others might wonder about; I purchased for a narrow size 8-1/2 to 9 woman's foot and the medium, I hope, will just barely fit (whereas the large are too big). I fitted my foot inside the soles to see and my toe is right at the end but I'm hoping the knitted top will allow more rather than less room and, as it's just my toes, these should work. A little more size flexibility would be nice in this product. Now to see how long the holes last with a slipper top sewn in. I plan to use leather lace rather than yarn to sew with as, in my experience, you need a "thread" that will really stand wear and tear in something like this. Yarn will just fray apart. If you plan to give these as a gift, don't use your yarn or be sure to strengthen it with a hard-wearing thread worked together, such as linen.

Excellent product. I bought socks from American Eagle and stitched to bottom. Been wearing them for months now. They are also not too hot for Florida, most of them you buy that have leather soles, have wool tops that are too hot for Florida. They come with some lambs wool padding that feels great.

Service was prompt and product in good condition. However, it is to fit a 8.5 shoe size and it was too short when I finished the project. Also, they were so wide that they were uncomfortable.

I bought these soles and no pattern was included. Called two different Michaels stores and they checked in the packaging and there were no knitting directions in either box in either store. None of the contact us/help links on the website for this item is a live link. So I have soles, yarn, needles and stitch holder and no directions. Any ideas?

Slipper soles were hard to find around a few months ago and I was lucky to find Boye's suede soles. I knitted a pair of slipper socks from Patons and decided to purchase this item. The holes sometimes weren't side by side, but it could still be sewn to the knitted socks. I had to take them apart to tailor them a bit, but it's comfy to walk around the house in. The large is 10.5 inches long. I wear a 10 and that's why I had to make it just a tad shorter. However, I would buy this product again.

Haven't used them yet but the price was absolutely wonderful. Will be ordering more.

These are very good, soft and fluffy. Took a while for delivery because they came from America.

Sizing was difficult to gauge but came out OK. Product nice quality & finished my project off very nicely. :O)
