could just be my application, RX 580
This is specific to installation on an RX 580, and paired with a ThermalTake Water 3.0.I read a lot of forums to try and figure out if this would work with my Gigabyte RX 580, and everybody seemed to agree that it would. Wellllllllllllllll let's just say that it technically does.Basically it doesn't fit using the intended orientation. I tried a lot of things, but I didn't want to put a friggin huge shim between the heatsink and GPU. However, if I rotate it 180 deg, it mounts up fine-ish.Issues with this method:1) your graphics card is much longer than before, but fortunately my mid-size tower had plenty of room2) the built-in fan no longer aligns with the rest of the chipset, so provision for alternative cooling would be good. I solved this by adding a lot of stick-on heat sinks and a Noctua fan. Note: I also put a _very good_ GPU brace on, fabricated by myself using threaded rod and some nuts so that it would also mount the Noctua fan, because now that it had all of this extra weight, it would definitely stress the PCI slot when in a tower.3) weird issue: the graphics card automatically throttles if it doesn't see the built-in fans plugged in. So, I actually just rotated the fans 90 deg along the long side of the card, and now I have two more case fans. Downside of this is that they interfere with side of the case so I left it off, which kind of eliminates the noise advantage of water cooling. On the bright side, the water cooler I used is only a single-fan unit, and it could handle as much heat as I could possibly create. I worked my way up to the fastest total overclock (GPU and memory) that I could do, with maximum voltage, and I could put it through long benchmarks and it stayed below 60C. Running games at the maximum playable (I consider 40 fps playable) settings at 2560x1440 it never goes above the mid 50s, for hours on end (no heat soak). Before I did this, that card would easily get up into the 80s under load, hotter with the side of the case closed. This may have also been due to aging thermal compound, but either way: the water cooler brings the temp way down compared to stock.SO: Final Verdict: If your graphics card is officially supported, I think this would be great. If it isn't, you might be able to get creative like I did.

Perfect if you have an old compatible water block.
I have a 1080 founders, and as we all know the cooler is sub par at best. Under load or mining I was seeing about 75°C I had just upgraded and had a liquid cooling loop that was compatible and figured I would repurpose the cooling loop. I did however have my concerns about leaving the vram and other chips that were attached to the heat sync being bear. So I found a set of $10 tiny heat syncs with thermal glue. When it was all said and done even under load or mining i have not seen above 46°C if you dont want to go full hog custom cooling loop this is perfect.

RX 590 - Phanteks Evolv mini-ITX
Had a RX 590 in a Phanteks Evolv mini-ITX case that was routinely hitting 75-80c under load even with 2x 140mm Noctua IPPC 2000 as front intake for fresh air. My case is notorious for starving GPU airflow apparently.I installed the Kracken G12 with a 120mm AIO (push config through the back) and it is now at 45c-48c under the same load test. I was also able to set my fan curve for all my case fan to near silent operation now.My particular card has most of the components intended to be cooled by the included fan on the opposite side. Would be great if the next iteration included ways to swap which side the fan was installed on for certain GPUs.The install wasn’t super difficult and it’s probably something someone looking into this product can comfortably do.Overall, very pleased with my results!

RTX 2080 XC Ultra
the bracket fit well however though you have to use the AMD brackets for the RTX GPU cards, also the heat plate that comes with the Rtx 2080 xc ultra will not fit with the brackets you can just take it off and it will fit fine but the VRAM and chips won't have any heat dissipation any more so what I did was cut out slots on the plate for the brackets to fit and that way the VRAM and chips still have heat dissipation. overall I made the installation a little more complex but in the end, it works great! temps don't go higher than 60c when I play for 2hrs plus before I would be at 90C.

Great for strix 5700xt
This bracket was easy to install on my strix 5700xt. Ended up mounting it vertically due tothesag I was getting. If you mount your card horizontally,, I suggest using a gpu holder. Highly recommend for this particular card. I saw a 20-27 degree drop on the junction temp under load. Very happy with the results. (AIO is the Fractal Celsius+ s36 Dynamic)

cooling
I have a gtx 1070 g1 gaming from gigabyt and it was screaming constantly and temps were at almost 90 degrees C. got this and 120 mm aio from corsair and my temps have been cut down to 41 degrees C consistently while gaming. nice and quiet now. mounting seems a little funky but that may be due to my aio choice.

Unfortunate Incompatibility
I don't like to dog on a particular company, but Nzxt should stop trying to make products that are vague "fits most" solutions. Unless their customer service and or installation manuals become more helpful in the future this will be my last purchase from Nzxt.

Fits like a glove on msi 2080
Did the job. With a kraken 240 my 2080 gaming x trio went from above 80°C to below 60°C during max load.

Consigliatissimo
