This summer I got the kids a go-cart that needed some parts. The previous owner lost the gas cap, so just threaded a cap on the fuel tank that more or less sort of fit. Well, it kept the rain out, but didn't seal the gas in as well. Hit a big bump, and a little gas would ooze out around it. Tighten it up enough to not leak, then it would not let air into the tank, and the engine would die after a little while.Put this little guy on, and the gas stays in, and it vents like it should. Far better than the old ill fitting cap.

Like the older metal design better . Fits my Craftsman Snowblower well A+

Although not an OEM part, this fits perfectly and is as good or better than the original.

The center stem was broke off on delivery, same problem as the one I was replacing, I tried a glue job, worked for a bit then metal thing fell off into tank, still have the rubber part but can't screw cap down or engine stops so it just hangs loose.

Had a Crack in old gas cap. Fit perfectly.

Not venting on my older Yard Machines / Craftsman even though this is supposed to be the compatible part. It appeare to have the metal cone vent, but it's not working. I have to attach the cap extremely loosely,right at the point it's nearly falling off for the machine to continue running, so it appears the vent has totally failed.

Needed to replace my broken original black Toro gas cap. This one fit and works well. I also like the red color for for refilling.

The cap came with the metal cone and foam insecure. The small attachment piece that is to hold the cone and foam in place was broken, and not even in the bag. The return process was easy but looks like I’ll be going to an actual store to physically hold a cap and make sure it’s not broken prior to purchasing. It’s too bad as I am in a rural area with no purchase options close by, so it was a convenient purchase if only the cap was useful.

I was surprised/ disappointed it was not as shown, but it does fit my old Tecumseh powered Craftsman lawn mower. It doesn’t have the metal cone, but appears to have a rubber one. (Last pic is the original/ old/ damaged gas cap). I’ll update this review if there are any performance issues.

Cap fit my snowblower perfectly, however the engine would only run for a minute and then shut down.Removed the cap and engine ran as normal so it was something to do with the cap.I removed the silver vacuum plate on the inside of the cap and tried again.That solved it.
