UNT Prelude Base Coat

I actually bought this product by mistake, thinking it was the peel-off base coat, but I am happy I made that mistake.! This is a great base coat! I've compared it to various other base coats from mainstream US brands (LAC, OPI, Wet n' Wild, Sally Hansen, etc.) and this out performs them all! It applies very smoothly and dries quickly (about 2 or 3 minutes). I've used it on it's own as a nail protector in between polishes as well as under numerous polishes that would normally stain my nails (dark purples, reds, blues, etc.) and it has worked wonderfully. I never have any problems with my nail polishes chipping for at least a week while wearing this! It even protected my nails from staining when I dyed my hair using Manic Panic dyes, which are notorious for skin/nail staining. And the shipping was incredibly fast, considering it came from Asia and had to go through customs. I would highly recommend this product to anyone looking for a quality base coat for their manicures!

I think we all read the same article linking this to a "peel off base coat' which it is not. I actually dont like it. I think it takes longer to dry than other base coats and my polish doesnt last as long.

This is the best base coat I've used. It prevents heavily pigmented nail polishes from staining my nails and it extends the wear of the polish as well.

Bought this by mistake thinking it was their peel off version. After the initial shock of being unable to peel it off, I have been very pleased with it as a great base coat. Happy mistake.

It works okay as a base coat but I didn't notice any strength or growth. Plus it was a bit thick. I wish I didn't order 2.

My favorite base coat. It is so much better than what you'd find in the drugstore or by other leading brands. This outranks OPI's base coats by 100!
