Print Artist 25 Platinum [Download]

Although I found it difficult to find the download after purchase, I have been using Print Artist for many many years. Yes, some of the ways to access things have changed, the product works the same as it has in the past. I do like it, and would recommend it to anyone who wants to be able to make all kinds of banners, cards, etc. and personalize them.

Top ten worst programs I have ever used!I have worked on computers for over 30 years and have used over 100 different programs (remember Lotus 123 anyone?) I have used previous editions of PrintArtist for more than 15 years with no complaints. I have made hundreds and hundreds of Christmas cards, birthday magnetic/cards, and other occasion cards with these previous PrintArtist programs.But this PrintArtist 25 Platinum, that cost more than the others, is not worth the wire it came down on! I have a HP computer running Windows 10 and I spent 2 1/2 hours trying to print 1 (one) card. Every time I tried to change a color, move an object or add a text, the program would crash and close. When I opened the program and card file again something would be missing from the file such as "Happy Birthday" or a color block or a picture from PA library file. Add it back in and crash and close again! Over and over again. I finally took a screen shot with my phone and downloaded it to my Corel and printed the card from there.So I am out $50+ and on the search for a new software program.

I've used this program for years. New computer required a download. Meets my needs for scanning and editing pictures, I'm not a professional photographer or artist and don't require complex programs. I make lots of cards, ATCs and other papercraft items. This gives me the ability to resize items and type to fit the projects I'm on. It's probably good for someone starting out that would have difficulty understanding complex, professional programs.

This software will enable me to do some wonderful craft project such as, cards, scrapbooking, etc.

I was hopeful. After reading the reviews on all the other brands of print programs, I finally settled for the Print Artist 25 Platinum download—even though the reviews weren’t terrific. But then the reviews weren’t great on ANY of the different programs other than the more professional products. I had used several different versions of PrintShop over many years and LOVED it until I finally got a new computer with Windows 10 and my PrintShop 15 was not compatible with that. I resisted buying a new program for several years because a.) the reviews on the newer versions were dismal and b.) I couldn’t bring myself to learn something new that I was sure would not be as good. Finally I knew I couldn’t trust my old computer any more and I was going to have to get something else or risk losing everything. So I broke down and bought Print Artist 25 Platinum.First with the good things: I had no problem with the download (thanks in part to my husband). I was nervous about that due to some reviews I had read. Secondly, there are a few newer features that my ancient PrintShop didn’t have, due I am sure, to newer technology.So far, that is where the good things end. It’s been pretty frustrating trying to work with this program. I know there is a learning curve and as I work with it more, I will become more proficient with it. However it is very obvious that the program is very bulky and difficult to circumnavigate. What took two or three simple steps in my old program would take ten in this new one. The project I was working on tonight would have taken me less than an hour previously. Tonight it took me more than five hours. I am not a novice at home publishing. I have done many hundreds of projects over many years. I know if I keep working at it, it will get easier and faster. But I feel sorry for people who are just getting started in this kind of program. And to tell the truth, I am discouraged enough to go ahead and spend the extra money and go back to PrintShop despite their reviews. At least I am familiar with it.

Been waiting and waiting for Broderbund to upgrade their software so it'll work on Windows 10. At last they've done it. So glad to create again. Bravo!

I really like how the program works and how easy it was to download and install.

I own print artist but the older version I don't need Internet to use when I download the new version I was upset they failed to say u need Internet to use not what I wanted oh well I guess I was kicked in the bottom needless to say no more downloads from me!!!
