A book for trivia lovers
Yes there are numerous books on trivia out there and a great many are written by Bill O'Neill. So you might say why buy and read another book on trivia and the answer is simple. The answer is you just never an have too much trivial knowledge at hand. Sure you will read somethings that you have heard of before, but then you will learn about something that you didn't know about. That is what makes a book of trivia so much fun to read that little nugget of knowledge you find hidden in the pages of the book. So if you little trivia then give this one a try and see if you find something new to amaze you so you can amaze your friends.

Some Interesting Facts but Most of It Could Be Skipped
I got this book as free download from the author. It is a basic book of trivia that one can decide what to read by the section title. There are several interesting points as to avocados being deadly to birds and that most copiers are damaged from fanny prints. The problem is that most of the book is useless or uninteresting trivia. I do not care how Hewlett-Packard got their name or why movie film is called footage ( I was able to figure this out without being told) or how hedgehogs got their name.I found myself skipping a lot of portions of this book. It is definately not a book to keep you entertained for hours. But some of the facts are still interesting (how upper and lower case got named). I give it three stars.

Bill O' Neill always delivers!
I have several trivia books in my collection, both digital and hard copy. I'm without a doubt a trivia geek and I'm here to tell you that Bill O' Neill trivia books do not disappoint. This goes way beyond just simple question and answer format. These books give you a little behind the facts story. Always interesting. Always accurate as far as I know. The man does his research. Very highly recommended. Thanks for the great read.

LEARNING WHAT YOU DON'T KNOW
Socrates once said that the more I know, the more I realize I know nothing. In other words, with the vast number of things there is too know about that we only know or have knowledge what about only amounts to a drop in the ocean.Knowledge is only a collection of tidbits of a myriad of items lumped together and is stored in those tiny grey cells of our minds. The over 250 tidbits contain in this book are sure to amaze and surprise you, as will all of your friends when you start talking about them, for example:The first selfie had actually been taken in 1913 in Russia by the Grand Duchess Anastasia. That racism never existed back in Roman Times. That lobster was originally considered to be a food for the poor. The origin of the word “deadline.”Each item is not merely a blank statement, each item consists of a brief essay surrounding the fact in question. For wanting to give his readers something with which they can amaze their family and friends regarding their vast increasing knowledge of things, I’ve given the author, Bill O’Neill, 5 STARS.

A Lotta trivia!
A quick read with a lot of info tidbits. Camel's delivering medicine to the Beatles and Mount Everest. Humorous and engaging read. A few typos, but I can live with that.

Poorly written
It has some fun facts. But it is very poorly written - fully of awful grammar and sentences that are wrong in a pathetic way. Did nobody proof read this? Obviously not. Terrible.

I love to learn and one of my past times is to read facts books then share what I have learned. This book was well written and had things that my whole family enjoyed. Thank you
