All as expected and excellent cutting - I actually got them for removing tangles from my very over sensitive long haired dog - he isn't noticing at all when I snip the tangles with these!

I groom my dog at home in between visits to the groomers. For the price paid these scissors are great. They are very sharp compared to some other ones I bought off amazon for a similar price. My hairdresser friend was surprised at how little I paid. The thinners work really well, you do need to make sure you use them correctly though. Watch a video online before you do it. I think a few of the bad reviews on here might be from people not knowing how to use them properly. You have to make sure you open and close them very well, and not drag or pull them at all through the dogs hair. My dog has very fine hair being a poodle cross and these cut very well.

Don't buy this product! The thinning shears jammed open, and wouldn't close, the first time I used them. As I was trying to close the scissors, they took a massive chunk out of my index finger! Bled profusely and has taken weeks to heal. Feel like these are cheap and not great quality. I sent them back.

These hair-cutting scissors are great—they’ve saved me a lot of trouble. My husband has medium-length hair that reaches almost to his neck, and it’s always been a struggle to get him to go to the salon for a trim, so I decided to do it myself. Since buying this pair of scissors, I’ve been trimming his hair almost every week, and we’re both very happy with the results! I’d tried using regular scissors before, but they were very dull and slow. These scissors are sharp and work quickly, and they handle his very curly hair at the ends with no problem. The thinning shears make the hair look more natural, but I haven’t quite mastered how to use them yet. I’ll be cutting my husband’s hair again this week, and I’m already really looking forward to it!
