Godminster - Howling Hound Black Truffle Vintage Organic Cheddar, 200 g

This is my favourite cheese I absolutely love it and my daughter does too. I find her creeping down to the kitchen at night to get her midnight snack of crackers and cheese. It’s so so good. The price has gone up compared to what it used to be priced at but it’s worth it. My only nag is how it’s packaged as it just arrives in a cardboard envelope with nothing round it so the grease seeps through and I feel it should have some extra wrapping around it.

lovely cheese and well worth money

I bought the cheese for entertaining with other cheese on my cheese board. As a cheese lover, I found it didn’t disappoint.

This is my favorite cheese, however very dissapointed to get cheese placed in box, with other items, unprotected, and warm.It arrived broken and smashed, it was not packed properly. Beware when orering from amazon, they do not package it properly. Its a shame, such great cheese now wasted.

Bought this cheese at my local Booths two Christmases ago and it was totally delicious: creamy with a bit of a tang and just the right taste of truffle: mmm!No Godminsters was not available at my local Booths last Christmas so I bought online and, unfortunately the mixture of taste and texture was not there. Still quite palatable but perhaps not acceptable for the price.

This cheese is completely addictive. With a lovely stong taste and a nice texture. I had to stop myself eating the block in one sitting

This cheese is equally flavoursome on it’s own, a cheeseboard and in a sauce with pasta. Very well balanced flavour and pretty happy overall with the price. If you like a rich cheese as described this is for you.
