Blackspire Sub4 pedal, 9/16" - black

Great platform pedal. I use them on my bike camping bike. Carry high quality.

The pedals are great, but I won't buy from Blackspire again. I spent a lot of money on these, and received a set that was defective. Instead of returning it, I offered to let Blackspire fix them so that they can understand and correct the manufacturing issue. They charged me $35 for a rebuild and shipping instead of owning up to their mistake and fixing it.I am an engineer and have spent a lot of time on CNC turning centers and lathes. I know what it looks like when someone is sloppy and does not take the time to properly align the workpiece in a chuck, then threads it off-axis. Blackspire's response was that they have never had a manufacturing issue or a bent spindle, and that this paltry manufacturing error must somehow be my fault. Like a chump, I took the hit because I just wanted some good pedals and I wanted to ride my bike.I was polite and tried to help Blackspire, and they weren't having it. Hard pass on these.
