My microwave started giving sparks whenever I turn it on. Even when empty. Searched online and found this as a common problem with burnt or worn out wave guide cover and it’s the number one cause. Luckily found exact size I was looking for and ordered immediately. What a bargain with 10pcs delivered next day, although only needed one piece. Easy replacement and microwave is back to life baby cooking hot meals without sparks. So happy, saved me buying a new microwave (had I not searched the issue online)

Almost through my microwave away, was sparking and burned a hole in the existing waveguide. Googled and found that this is a common issue, and replacing the waveguide( did not even know it was there) often fixes the issue. I used the old waveguide as a template, cut out a new one and all works fine again . Loads left over to use as future spares.
